    That is one very thirsty plant. I would like to see a picture after potting and given a big drink.

    It was kind of like pass the parcel. You need a sharper knife. Nice little cactus.

      =) The knife isn't super sharp, but it's a single-bevel knife and I was using it at the wrong angle because it's a right-hand knife and I usually use left-hand knives.

    Where did you order this from? I ordered some L. williamsii and San pedro a few years ago from some online marketplace client i learned about from a youtube video. I want more but forgot what that client was. IT was super cheap. Think it came from spain or something.

      From a colector here in Portugal.

    From where and do they ship worldwide

    • @lophoflora
      @lophoflora  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I bought it from a grower I know here in my country. Some European and Asian growers ship internationally. In some FB groups you can find them but you have to be careful not to be scammed. And if you live in a country where Lophos are not allowed, you risk losing your plants and your money.

      @@lophoflora hmm ,any shippers to asia india

    • @HgoArt
      @HgoArt 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@nisarkara2906 Of course, from Thailand, China, Japan, etc... I don't know how to recommend one, as I only buy plants within European Union, and currently not even that, as I already have a considerable number of different varieties. But I tell you that Asian plants look very different from the original ones. On the one hand, there are many hybrids with extravagant forms, and on the other hand, the plants grow throughout the year, with a humid tropical climate, having a more globular appearance.
      (Edit) Sorry after writing I noticed that I may have misunderstood your question. There are growers who ship all over the world with some exceptions maybe, but it's always the buyer's responsibility. With phytosanitary certificates the price will go up a bit.

    subscribed. Grafted at some point and moved to own roots?

    • @lophoflora
      @lophoflora  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't think so. 🙂

    • @sats_nak
      @sats_nak 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@lophoflora It's looks great either way. I was guessing graft from the lack of tap root going all the way down and it splintering off into a more typical root system..

    • @lophoflora
      @lophoflora  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sats_nak I have some plants sown by me with very atypical roots. Some in the form of an inverted V, others with one part growing vertically and another horizontally, just below the surface of the soil. :)

    • @lophoflora
      @lophoflora  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sats_nak It may also have had the tips of the roots cut off. Even as it is now, I had to place it in a larger pot than I would like.

    Woow They are surely endangered plants illegally extracted from Mexico and they end up in those amazing productions with many likes.

      WTFAYTA?

    • @billastell3753
      @billastell3753 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      In most cases they are grown from seeds that are grown from many generations of domestically saved seeds. Just like that carrot you ate for supper. Not illegally extracted from Mexico or the USA.
