Rabbi you have made a huge impact on my soul. There is something about you that is different than others who talk about similar things. You inspire me to give and spread kindness in the world. Thank you for everything you do.

None of my family are religious, I never was interested in christianity. It was in both my schools, iv never considered myself atheist. After months of these videos.. oh why wasnt I born jewish? Incredible. Iv always respected all religions. For years I considered myself spiritual. The wisdom I'm learning, from your videos. Thankyou so much. 🌻

Ou yeah I really love this topic!! There is just too much shame and stigma around mental health especially in my community. This is why I feel like I’ve been called to serve in this area .
People with mental are the most neglected in our society.
They are the sheep that strays that no-one goes looking for. Thank you for showing love and compassion to this topic.

A mental state is something in the corner of a spiritual state.

Thank you so much for this video. Your words are so meaningful and offer a way to cope with so many external challenges. I live in Texas near the scene of the most recent mass shooting. This is just one of many disturbing incidents that have occurred recently. Your suggestion on how to cope with personal mental health 39:51 challenges will be helpful in dealing with external incidents that threaten us. SPA…. a wonderful and hopeful way to cope.

Sometimes I think death is the only way to deal with it. I do what I can to starve off the bad thoughts but its just so difficult. I always thought I was financially responsible, always paid my debts, but with what's going on now economically it's a double whammy.

My granny suffered from fits while she was pregnant with my youngest aunt, who was born with special needs. The moon used to have a strong effect on her behavior. Knowing this, my granny used to be prepared in advance of the full moon by checking her into the hospital just before the full moon and taking her out after. This helped keep her and us safe while we were growing up. Her mind only developed to that of a 12 year old as her body grew into adulthood. This was my first conscious awareness of how the moon affected human behavior. 💙

I had a spiritual awakening in my 60s, I hope I do not have mental illness 😢

Rabbi Simon, do you know Gabor Mate? We have to address the structural problems of loss of social order, family, pollution and economics in their role in creating what we call mental illness. In many ways, mental illness is a social design that needs to be recognized. If you are in a society that terrorizes people enough, they are going to have difficulties.

    Shalom and howdy evening how.
I know the absolute best HOLY Comforter and HOLY Counselor.
If anyone is thirsty for the TRUTH, knock and keep knocking.
This is the HOLY SPIRIT, YAHWEH'S real time, live active streaming WILL, manifesting HIMSELF, wherever and whenever HE desires.
Keep knocking, for HE wants to help you all but you must be serious.
For HE already knows our heart and our minds!
YESHUA is the DOOR while YAHWEH is the ROOM!
    I love you all!
    Shalom

You're a wise man. I know this, because I've spent many hours listening to your thoughts. As a wise man, you should refrain from assuming. Anything. As you know. This is simply a reminder. What am I speaking about? Your assumption that the story of "chemical imbalance" from the corrupt medical industry is synonymous with Truth. You know it isn't. You think God makes mistakes like that? Of course you don't. Other than that. Thank you.

Perhaps. But i find the word "should" to be loaded with judgment and is unnecessary. After all, "judge not, lest ye be judged."
Making suggestions is more neutral and kind.
