ep70 Bishops Garage - 1964 T-bird flasher and blinker wiring work.

Today we work on Coral Anne, our 1964 T-Bird.
At some point a failing in the wiring, lead to the previous owner porting power over to a pair of relays under the back seat to give power to the brake and blinker lights.
Today I fix the ground to that inserted botch job and get our blinkers and brake lights back in working order.
Lets replace that burned out 3-prong blinker relay with a new 2-prong....as we don't need that 3rd one on our rig.

Hey there sir, Im jacking with my 64 and now the blinkers don't work. What is the other "relay" close to the flasher that looks like 4 blades but also a flasher relay

One is your emergency flashes and the others are the flashers...you can test that by shorting the relay over to one of the wires, and see which side blinks, if its both then that is the emergency flasher unit.
I recall that some of the blinker units, modern make, are too weak to flash old incandescent bulbs...what brand and make is the new flasher?
