I was watching your video because I am having issues with the Y motor drive wheel disintegrating within a few months. I first want to mention that my machine was set up by a dealer, not by me.
I replaced the current Y drive wheel about 6 months ago and saw that the whole back portion of the wheel had torn away from the rest of the wheel. It was the end of the wheel closet to the motor. When I put the new wheel on and engaged it I noticed that it didn’t sit quite flat on the carriage. The part of the wheel that is closet to the motor (and the part that wears away) sits on the carriage and the rest of the wheel is very slightly raised above the carriage. Basically the wheel is slightly tilted toward the motor. When I push up on the motor itself, they wheel is flat on the carriage. So all of the pressure is being put in the part of the wheel closet to the motor. The wheel I installed 6 months ago has now done the same thing, a chunk has torn off the part of the wheel closet to the motor. Before replacing it yet again I would like to make sure that this doesn’t keep happening as this is an expensive repair. I was told these wheels are very resilient and shouldn’t need replacing very often. I’ve put in a call to my dealer but unfortunately he’s out of town. I was hoping you could help me out. I’m kind of nervous about fiddling with all these screws and making the problem worse.
I wish I knew how to send you a picture of the wheel and the part that falls off so it might make more sense than my description
    Thank you !

Sometimes when they are off center or colliding with something on the table they wear more easily
