- Final Episode!
Setting off down the southern shore of the Bonavista peninsula we find more Puffin and whale! Before we head to Trinity and one of the oldest blacksmith forges around! After we head to Dildo and an amazing camp spot on the bay.
The next day takes us into the largest city in Newfoundland, Saint John’s. Where we visit Signal Hill and the Cabot Tower. (The first place a wireless signal was received over the Atlantic). We also visit Jelly Bean Row.
Then we become true Newfoundlanders by getting Screeched In. We end the night camped on a 600 foot high cliff.
The next day takes us as far East as you can go on the continent to Cape Spear. Then we wind our way down the coast through Ferryland and around to the South Avalon-Burin Oceanic Barrens. Where we end up at Cape Race Lighthouse. We do some trail riding before settling in a small cove full of seals. Our last day on the island see us at Cape Pine and then up to Castle Hill National Historic Site before we Jump on our ferry in Argentia (MV Atlantic Vision) to head back home through Nova Scotia and New Brunswick Canada.

*We understand we couldn’t see everything in this beautiful country. It just gives us a reason to come back again!
I'm glad the TH-cam algorithm recommended this video to me! It reminded me how my couple of visits to Newfoundland over the years have been highlights of my travel experiences. I strongly encourage anyone reading this to visit Newfoundland. You'll be glad you did.
We feel the same way! Everywhere we went was gold!
Thanx so much for this incredible series! Well done in every way! Hope René, is back to %100!!..👍🇨🇦
Hi there.
A wonderful video. You have truly done a marvelous job of highlighting our province. Love the puppies and all the great Dialogue. I hope you and your wife return again.
Thank you
Just binge watched the series. Great stuff, Jeremiah! See you in the Red.
Awesome series! We visited NL in 2018 and now we live on the Bonavista Peninsula. The Quintal club sandwich is amazing - happy you got to try it!
So happy you enjoyed our beautiful province,
Loved watching your videos!
another great vid thanks for the upload..
WHAT an amazing journey….#jealous… would love to camp with you guys someday !!
very nice, I do like the videos that you make. Nice film work and good choice of music.
Beautiful country, thanks for taking us along. Small Town Dildo..... lol I would have never believed it
Your drone work is epic. I've been doing drone work in NL for years and this is the best I've seen TBH. Well done.
Thank you!
great video
Overland. How is it going?~ like it!you made unusual footage. 👏
Well done as usual! Thanks for bringing us along... until next time, take care.
Thank you per usual for you viewership and support!
Many many thanks for such a fantastic job showcasing your visit to Newfoundland. You’ve seen more of the province that I’m from than I have. Truly a masterpiece. I live approximately 40 minutes from Argentia ferry terminal. Both my wife and I love overlanding in our jeep and trailer as well. As an added point of interest in World War Two there was an American naval base in Argentia with many off road trails to visible bunkers and underground hospital still accessible via jeep and ATV. the old Newfoundland railway is now a province wide off road trail way mainly used by ATV’s but also jeeps as well. Safe travels and once again many thanks.
I’ll look into that trail. We found a few abandoned trails I’d like to take a small group through to see if they were completable. Beautiful place!
You have very thouroughly reminded me why Newfoundland is my favorite place I've ever been. Incredible videography.
Thank you my friend! It is definitely now mine!
absolutely amazing thanks for taking the time and hard work editing to share this experience with all of us! hope on one of the trips through Maine we get to meet it would make our day.
I thanks you for the accolades afforded to my fellow Canadians, and also our fabulous vids
Thank you for sharing such knowledge and views with your audience! Much appreciated. We enjoy the peaceful countryside over the city life. 🤗
Fantastic videography in this series. I'm originally from Newfoundland and seeing your series has made long to go back for a visit.
Ive really enjoyed this episode!! very "national geographic" and amazing footage with fun and informative narration!!! Now I wanna point the van that way and enjoy a few days of beautiful Canada!!
I finally managed to sit down and watch this part. It looked like an epic trip. I had little idea that Newfoundland was that scenic. Hopefully one day I'll make it up that way. What's in store next?
Grassyass! We have big bucket list trips planned but some local Appalachia camping with the fam is next.
I'm in Virginia, and spend a lot of time in the mountains. Perhaps we'll cross paths!
We LOVED this entire series! I hope your wife is doing well. We have a Nova Scotia trip planned for July ‘24. Now I am excited to plan a Newfoundland trip! Your footage is so beautiful!
We loved Nova Scotia too. We did it a few years back! Epic place!
Amazing series of videos. You deserve way way more views than you have. Really incredibly filmed, and produced. Great work guys!!
Thank ya much! TH-cam wants regular uploads to grow but we do it because we enjoy it!
Another excellent video! Especially the drone shots! Wish we had run into you guys, but I think we were there earlier, though we stayed 5 weeks. We had zero issues with any border crossings, in fact in Calais going over our agent was from Labrador and told us exactly where to find caribou! Also loved the Newfoundland beer( though not the sours!). Our best beer stop was in Tatamagouche, NS on the way home.
We have amazing luck going into Canada. But for some reason we find all the angry dudes while Re-entering!
@@OverlandPioneers those are US Border Patrol. We’ve never had an issue. We cross pretty often and are Veterans. I think that pops up somehow. Sorry it happens. Keep up the great videos!
damn this series is out of this world. Would love to know the money involves just an estimate to do this trip. Im insired by you guys.. keep it up
Ferry rides with the cabins alone were 1400. But that also includes the charge for the trailer. Overall, I think we spent around $6000 for three weeks but we also ate and drank very well.
thanks brother
Hello! great videos thank you from Canada! My question is... on the ferry...where do dogs do their business? Thanks in advance!
We brought pads for them just for the room. The 8 hr ferry too the island they held it. The 17 hr ferry back they used the pad.
