    I just have one credit card, and I use it because I get reward points. It is also used for online purchases.
    You always have to save money just in case something happens, like a job loss, medical expenses, repairing your vehicle, getting stuff fixed in your home, etc. At the end of the month, I always pay off all the balances on my credit card and keep it at zero.
    As for things, I don't really care about buying expensive wallets, expensive watches, top of the line computer, a super car, etc. I just buy medium quality stuff, and stuff that is a good value for the money. In this day and age, we need a lot of money just to pay basic expenses.

    When you pay attention to the news about how banks are so excited about credit credit earnings and how investors are so soothed about the record profits boosted by it , you get pretty worried for society itself.

    We really need to pay back the credit card debt, cause if we don't the subsequent charges will be charged 27% interest as it is considered as the "outstanding" over the outstanding balance mah. Imagine these people had to depend on credit card for their necessities like groceries...really cannot imagine that sia.

    Did you guys ever wonder why school does not teach us basic financial education they teach you advance Mathematics but you cant even manage your finance at later age. Credit card is good tool to get cash back or other reward but you must have financial maturity and responsibility. Spent within your means.

      This is engineered to keep the masses poor and needing to work the rest of their lives. Can’t have everybody be wealthy, nobody will fill the jobs society needs to function properly.

    You need to pay yearly card subscription. I know u can ask for waiver but that also depend on your spending n how much u owe.

    • @ASingaporeChipmunk
      @ASingaporeChipmunk  26 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@paulkol683 that I am aware of.
      And so far, I am contented to use it and if the cc company doesn’t waive it I will take it as though my so called cashbacks will be use so net net is zero then so be it.
      I am still ok to use it because I have my other side incomes that I use my cc to pay for the expenses.
      Your mileage may vary but I this isn’t about whether you use or not to use a cc, it’s to pay off the whole amount IF you have a cc card to begin with, as per title of my video.

    I pay off all my credit card once due. I dont roll over credit card debts. I make the cashback or points and make use of that, that's all.. credit card is not your money. People need to understand that

      Some need to have a reality check.
      Like for real man. Yes I spent all my money back in the day, but at least I know to pay my cc in full every single time.
      Good on you Eric!
