      Really speaks to what I do most when I go outside! Anyone that has Daisy as their local is a winner.

      Just bought my first MTB :)
      Was gonna buy a K Mart MTB but instead went with a 2021 Polygon Cascade 4.
      Daisy hill is only 15mins from my house so Id love to practice here !!
      Is their any other trails in Brisbane that are good for beginners ???

    Used to do NIrvana over 10 years ago, hasnt changed much. Was never really worth the long ass ride over there though. Choc Buddah and Second Coming were always the business

    How is the camera so smooth? Are you using a gimbal ?

    • @BicycleCurious
      @BicycleCurious  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I was indeed using a gimbal when this was recorded. I no longer use it though as the GoPro 9 is just too damn smooth.

    Just wondering what do you have the front rebound set at? It looks very responsive maybe a lil too fast. That's why the landings look harsh. But great vids mate 🤙

    • @BicycleCurious
      @BicycleCurious  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Currently I have it set to 7 clicks out with about 85 PSI, keeping it pretty open on the compression. I'm guilty of being a pretty hard lander at the best of times as well. Appreciate the feedback!

      @@BicycleCuriousSWEET 🤙I'm 100kg and my sag is set at 15% with damping fully open and rebound pretty slow at 3 clicks from closed always a nice landing. Keep up the vids loved them bud 🤙🤙

    I had a look on trail forks but couldn’t find mad max jump lines. Are they just after the mad max 1, I am planing to go there in a few days for my first time

    • @BicycleCurious
      @BicycleCurious  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      So it's where mad max 1 and 2 join. Take the fireroad to the left and you will find it easy. :)

    Would be nice if you could say the names of the trails you are riding, i wanna learn but its a bit daunting being unfit and going by yourself, not knowi g the trail lines and the maps being utterly useless

    • @BicycleCurious
      @BicycleCurious  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey Quantative, giving viewers and idea of what to expect on the trails is partly why I started this channel! You might say I've done the homework for everyone. :p
      I totally agree, heading out for the first time can be daunting. So I've included small lower 3rds at the start of each trail.
      I've combined this with segments and timecodes for each trail (in the slider and description). AND you can view the entire ride on the TrailForks link (also in the description).
      Have a look, weigh up your options, complete a plan (TrailForks) and get shredding!!

    • @BicycleCurious

      Daisy is amazing for young and new riders, stick to the green and blue trails and you should have a rad time! Probably give the jump line and Nirvana a miss though.

    Teach yourself how to do "bump jumps" watching you go down Lace Monitor with all.the tree roots drops, I thought you would benefit from this skill.
    Essentially its a bunny hop with no effort. You unwritten the front wheel, let it hit the edge of the root that gets you easy air.
    I cant bunny hop high, never could but I can bump.jump and its DAMM FUN! Bonus it looks pro....

    • @BicycleCurious
      @BicycleCurious  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I actually do know the technique you are talking about and have used it before! Maybe I was too gassed on that day to pop the front wheel down Lace Monitor... but YES great technique for those poppy and rooty lips.
