- A bumper episode including Palmerston going to the Vale of Rheidol and S&T testing the finished Waunfawr signalling system. Also more on 740, half term in Caernarfon and Blaenau platform.

Cyfnod aruthrol yn cynnwys Palmerston yn mynd i Reilffordd Cwm Rheidol a S&T yn profi system signalau gorffenedig Waunfawr. Mwy hefyd ar 740, hanner tymor yn blatfform Caernarfon a Blaenau.
Great episode. But the real star of today's show was the American Freightliner at 12:46. Watching her drive around the U.K. was a real treat. Please have her on the show more.
What's the use of being general manager of a railway company, if you don't get to play trains every once in a while 😂
Danke! Was für eine perfekte Bildqualität und das bei fast durchgehend Regen und schlechtem Wetter! Kompliment!
And little did we know, but Pixie was hiding in plain sight 😂😂
i love all your fixed up trains.beautiful steam trains
Wonderful cinematography and editing - as always. 👍It was great to see a cabover Freightliner which has long since disappeared from the roads here in the US. 🙂
It must be interesting running that US Freightliner (left-hand drive) through the British country roads. 😀
That dragon hood-ornament is awesome!
Another great video, thank you
Imagine trying to explain to someone who grows up with this fabulous quality of coverage that once upon a time even national broadcasters wouldn't shoot with more than one camera, and that aerial shots were kept for major disasters¹. Mind you, you might then have to explain the idea of a national broadcaster…
Lovely stuff!
¹& ill-founded Thames Valley Police raids, obvs
Excellent as always!
So good to see John Savage and Jay Maxey, both the second generation of their families to be involved with F&WHR, in this edition. There are plenty of others, of course, Wilkinsons, Scarisbricks, Walkers, Griffiths
Can’t be much difference in fuel cost between a small steam locomotive and diesel locomotive and 300 times more fun 😊
Making old Hugh work!
Can't wait to see Nesta running again!
Clunk Click, every trip hey Paul Lewin😂😂😂
If the back-to-back gauge on Nesta (?) is a bit too small, couldn't you re-profile the tyres on a wheel lathe to a proper dimension?
