Absolutely fantastic. Split Enz truly underrated band.
Been a fan of Split Enz since the Phil Judd era . Every time I listen to their music I can't help but smile. They give me a delicious wonderful giddy happiness. Love ya' lads'! ❤❤❤

I will be honest......I am lazy.I could have done a lot better but because it is a documentry it has lots of old and new footage and it would require quite a bit of work to recode sections at a time and assemble it in to a final product. Instead, I drew a line in the sand that was about 50/50 and went with that. So many seens will be over exposed, some will be brilliant, some strange looking. But overall, it probably still looks better than the original. Unfortunately, it is BLOCKED In Australia and NEW ZEALAND due to a few songs which I cant be bothered editing out. So all up, there was a lot of work....or this :) Cheers, it will come on in 20 minutes, have to wait for TH-cams encoding to catch up or it will ne 360p for the next hour.

The influence of Neil in Split Enz was more Crowded House style
.....in retrospect, can CONFIDENTLY say that they were among popular music's MOST important bands EVER; simply stated, there's been NOBODY like them, before OR since.....

I dunno about amazing ...some parts look good. I cant remember exactly what I did as I didn't have the time to pull it all apart and do seperate sections, so it was a best effort so all of it was reasonable. At a guess it would have been Proteus with manual settings.

@@pant-hootingchimp8917 I didn't watch the documentary beforehand so didn't realize there were so many long pieces of music video clips in it. I just watched some more of it and unfortunately it's one of those things that you need to spend time on to do properly. If I spent a couple of days remastering it, like 20 0 30 odd hours of work, I could have made it brilliant. But I just don't have that much time to devote to something that few people are going to see and I don't have a big interest in myself. All the newer interview footage as you can see can be made to look like it was just taken, but the older stuff is a different matter and each piece of it would need to be encoded separately. In the end you have 30 odd pieces of video that need to be reassembled, and then the original audio needs to be fitted to it.
