Native Instruments Traktor Kontrol S5 & STEMS - Live Launch Webinar @ SCAN

The Traktor Kontrol S5 is the latest "STEMS" compatible DJ Controller, taking the footprint of the existing S4 controller, but integrating the on-unit displays from the S8 and D2 models. it provides a great way of manipulating not only audio files, but opens the world of STEM mixing up in a portable, all in one controller.
STEMS are four track files, that contain individual elements of a track, they can be played together as the original file would be, or can be isolated and effected separately live, giving the opportunity to do live remixes and creative edits. The STEMS format has been adopted and supported by many high profile labels and artists and can be purchased from most DJ specific download sites, in the same way as you would buy music to dj with.
The webinar will be presented by Native Instruments Ambassador Tom Autobot, who has been a professional Traktor user since version 1.0 was released in 2001 and has toured worldwide with different setups based around the software. Tom will not only take you through the features of the S5, but also give an insight into the STEMS format and explain how you can make and manipulate your own files.

+ashley styles - no dedicated volume faders, you can do it with selecting the stem on its own, and then turning the encoder, or you can add an additional midi controller and assign that up to do the faders.
