I agree with all the others - yours is the first video I've seen that shows the detail of how to draw the "box" around the subject with your finger. I've been struggling with this, trying to get my Mavic to follow me around, completely unsuccessful until I saw your video. Thanks, and good job!
New drone owner here and it’s intimidating being the price the amount of controls and features. Just wanted to say thanks for teaching me and raising my confidence level, I watched them all on drone
I was overwhelmed with all these modes on the Mavic but your video helped clear everything up. Simple and to the point, gonna go check out your other tutorials now!
Best tutorial on how to use Active Track! One suggestion I have is to include a segment on "Enable backward flying in active track" as it is disabled by default. Enabling this helps tracking subject by being in front of the subject (for example being able to see front view of a bike rider) with drone flying backwards.

Very informative! Thx! A step by step walkthrough for each function is really all that you need. You'd be surprised how many TH-camrs neglect that and throw in all sorts of bullshit or stuff that they think may be funny and messes up the entire video. Good job!

I wanna thank you, that was a great explanation, found it after I didnt fully knew how to use my active track the first time I tried it, and finally got to use it yesterday for a friend's film project, although a test for now, it worked the way that was needed, using spotlight. In this case the subject was still and I piloted the drone around without having to focus on the scene, rather than the drone as it was in some woods.
Bought a used Mavic Pro , exciting to fly ,but done know anything about it, thanks for your video . let me know lot of knowledge before I fly my drone . you save my drone thanks again
Great explanation of ActiveTrack, thanks for sharing. Was out before watching your vid in the bright sun and couldnt see a thing on my display when I wanted to test ActiveTrack. Now things are clear for the next test.
Suggestion for next video: what controls still working in active track mode, let's say in profile can u go closer or away from subject etc. Good job!!!
Very helpful getting me started with these different modes... I think the reason it was struggling to track you when you were walking around was because your sweatshirt matched the pavement color. In guessing a better contrast would have worked first try

Have you used that setting and how did it work?
Careful because you run the risk of running into an obstacle backwards with this mode
