Inspirational! The blended wing, almost Sunburst in this case. The fanning of the CDC wing, so effective! The quill ribbed dubbed body, superb! 3 simple but brilliant techniques that after trawling several tying sites, i have never come across before using these materials. Thanks Davie! Best wishes, Alan

Hi Dewi, I have used thread very similar to the Fusion over the years mostly on nymphs and buzzers but never really went any further due to tying what I need to for customers but I try and find the odd time to experiment with patterns so I'll keep it in mind... All the very best Davie
Very nice fly pattern. May i ask were you get your materials? Yes i know, im like, really late on watching this video, but i literally just started tying flys like, 5 days ago. Thanks!
Hi Gabriel, If you look at the playlist of beginner flies there's some easy patterns which would be ideal for you to try and some of the techniques you will find useful...Many of the videos I have on youtube have many techniques some are easier than others but I'm sure through time you will pick them up the more you practise...I've attached a link to some videos you will enjoy.. Thanks for this video Davie...love the lightly dubbed body ribbed with a stripped quill ...will try that on some slim nymph patterns too :)
That is by far one of the greatest techniques I have seen. Beautiful! Thanks for sharing.
lovely tie Davie.. cheers
all the best,
James
My favorite tied to match our Sulphers... Great Pattern....Thanks
Great video. That fly is a good imitation of the sulfur mayfly here in the SE United States.
