Thanks for this video! I’m a student learning guitar, and I have an acoustic electric guitar. It really discouraged me because I didn’t know the difference at first, and I thought it sounded different. This proves everything I thought wrong. Thank you!
I wish this guy was my dad. This guy speaks and your mind fills with words like hope, safety, kindness. My dad starts speaking and its......fear, anger anxiety despair !
Norman D go check out the Chet Atkins. They have similar set up. Gibson is a but pricey, but the epiphone is still quality. I'd recommend Fender's stratocoustic, but the Chet model is way better with great electric sound and cuts through any mix.
Todd, great video. I’ve been a fan of acoustic electric guitars for a while. I love the versatility they provide. I’d be interested to know what guitar strings do you recommend- manufacturer, type and gauge. Thank you!
Jon Anderson should've had that guitar at the rock n' roll hall of fame because I couldn't hear what he was playing when I watched the concert on my device.
My Washburn EA-36 has the best plugged in acoustic sound I've ever heard and no feed back problems. I've tried many other Martins, Taylors, Yamahas, etc. None compare to the Washburn.
I heard that Acoustic guitar strings are harder than electric guitar strings but what if its an acoustic-electric guitar? is it as hard as the acoustic guitar strings ?
Stock strings are just awful. Business decisions have created a mass of just useless guitars with no proper intonation, shitty frets, terrible tuners, and above all else, steel bridge cables for strings. Epiphone executives should be hanged for their crimes against the guitar world, countless new players using their wallets instead of their brain have quit the hobby because of the frustration stemming from unplayable instruments. Spend the money, but not on a “beginner guitar”. Might as well call them the “quitter guitars”.
Even guitarists Steven Page and Ed Robertson should have so it will not be a problem switching back and forth for acoustic and electric guitars when they can have them both together as an option.
Looking for help with a question. What type of amp do I need to plug a microphone in with my guitar to sing and also want some type of kick drum. Do I need 2 - 3 amps or can I do one. Looking for cheaper options without losing to much quality.
i just got a accustic//electric guitar. I am trying to learn this song. I struggle with Bminer. And also- how do you set it upppp for it to be electric??????
I felt like Todd could walk me through the niceties of producing nerve toxin or a household atom bomb, and I'd get asmr tingles all the way as I copied each step.
He started talking and I just agreed with everything he said.
Lmao
Can I hire you to read me a bed time story? Nice vid
Dude😂😂 his voice is so soothin🔥
His voice is almost as soothing as Bob Ross's
He's definitely got that voice and vibe that could get you to buy your own socks for triple the price and you wouldn't even be mad.

Awesome! Just recently bought a Yamaha FX335c acoustic electric guitar and this is exactly what I needed to find out more. Thanks
If he was a teacher he would probably the only one who is being listened to
When you started strumming the DeMars, it made the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end. Awesome sound!
Just by hearing your voice I knew I’d learn a lot
This guy looks like George Lucas and Robin Williams, with the personality of Bob Ross lol. Awesome video man, you earned a new subscriber!

OMG your voice sounds amazing.
I got my acoustic electric guitar on sale for 89.99 lol. It’s a great instrument with a perfect sound. Great video 🎸
That last guitar sound so good.. i think its very very expensive though
3.4k yeah that's pretty expensive.

I'd recommend Fender's stratocoustic, but the Chet model is way better with great electric sound and cuts through any mix.
thanks to this guy I decide to buy a guitar

Great video, just wish you plugged more than the last one in.
It's current year. Want to get into playing guitar, which one should I get?

you are awesome dude
You have the voice of an awesome angel
In the yamaha guitar, where do you plug in the chord for the amp? =)
Its usually around the side of the body to the right or left it makes no difference.
okay sweet, thank you!
Yaniza Doré No problem.
Can you play an acoustic electric-guitar without the cord? will it sound good?
that last guitar sounds great but I would buy it just because of how you speak about it
great video!
4:20 amazing. Which song?
I enjoyed your video very much ...thank you 🙏
Jon Anderson should've had that guitar at the rock n' roll hall of fame because I couldn't hear what he was playing when I watched the concert on my device.
I agree with Cody Darling and Domenic Vermillion lol
I picked up an Ibanz acoustic electric, I have yet to test as to how it works when it comes to overdrive, chorus and delay.
Loved all that guitars, the DeMars is a beauty, I want one!
Very informative thank you!

Yep, he definitely has a voice of a voice actor. He must have been a singer.
You should work as a radio speaker! Very nice voice man.
This guys could bring peace to the Middle East with his voice.
I've never been into the acoustic/electric sound. I even prefer the slide in sound hole pickups over the piezo thuddiness, but to each their own.
I don't know how to play but I seen one at the pawn shop and it did sound sooo beautiful! (it was blue too) how to learn?
learn how notes go together to make music, learn the notes on the guitar, practice, practice, practice. And then practice some more.
ABSOLUTELY GREAT VIDEO PRESENTATION SUBSCRIBED 😎 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
Well,Im not good in this so i want to ask. What equipment do i need for acoustic-electric guitar ? ? ? Thanks...
+Nikola Catic If you wanna plug it in, an amp and a cable. Note that there are acoustic and electric amps, and they are both similarly priced.

For electro-acoustic with nylon strings: Ortega RCE145 or RCE158 or Fender Slimline CN-140SCE?

When I first heard of "acoustic electric" guitars, I thought it was either acoustic or electric, and that you couldn't have it both ways.
which will sound better in recording, acoustic-electric guitar? or just an acoustic guitar with a pickup?

Is there other guitars like the demars but without paying $3000
