- Markets and shops in Heihe, a city on the China-Russia border in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, have been teeming with Russian tourists, who are flocking across the border for hearty breakfasts and shopping sprees since visa-free group travel resumed between the two countries last month.

This is a big boost to economy of the city and a catalyst to the creation of more job opportunities to the local people.
It's money well spent, Russians are happy and the chinese city gets an economic boost, i wish i lived near the border, one minute i'm in Russia eating breakfast in the open fields, and the next im in China having a go at some authentic Chinese cuisine , meeting people and experience their culture, if only things were this simple

Breakfast is usually oily and salty, fried or steamed with no fresh fruits. Mostly flour based, (noodles, fried breads, steamed buns, porridge with eggs or a bit of grounded meat. Lunch and dinner is definitely better with more variety.

The Chinese are very good at taking what already exists and improving on it. They also have their downsides. Their youth lack freedom and expression. Culture from China is very slow in progress. Those Russians living near the border are blessed as they can easily travel to China to eat breakfast, or to purchase anything that they want. Russia trilateral cooperation with China is great and hope they always be.

Rubles still goes long way here. A day-trip to China is only crossing the river. Now Chinese cars are luxury items as Putin mentioned, maybe buy a car and drive back to Russia.
China produced cars are quite good and reliable these days 👍 good performance.
Some Chinese cars, especially EV ones, have really reached top quality level. I’m looking at buying Li-9 or Zeekr 001 soon. I live in Russia, by the way.
