I’ve got tbh I’m enjoying this route after buying it at 40% off in the PS sale. If I’d continued to listen to all the nay sayers in the official forums I wouldn’t have gone anywhere near it ( I never participate in the official forums I just read them sometimes, no point because your not really allowed to have your view considered ) so not buying this would have been my loss. Ok I appreciate its probably got it’s issues but as a CASUAL train fan it’s good enough for me on my PS5 for the price I paid. In short buy with your own instinct and don’t always rely on others to tell you not to. I might be easily pleased? but for the price of a few pints I’m getting a lot of enjoyment for my money.
Just a reminder, the Vigilance switch on the 158 is on the panel behind the driver, separate from the DSD. The 2D map has a known bug where the controls go mad, slated to be fixed in the next major core update. I think on PS5 I just press square twice and it clears it.
Hi mate, i do like this route and the extension and then eventually the class 158 will defo put this route up near the top for me for playabburstinclose to bursting though ready for Tuesday
Also have you noticed the class 170 has updated Destination display and the onboard PIS the display has calling points now but it’s a bit off the calling points should be on the centre of the pis not the top.

I just don't get all the hate towards rivet. Personally, I don't see the problem with. this route.. . Play this more than the other Scottish routes. . Maybe some would be happier if rivet just didn't bother making content ??????
@@animaltvi9515 For the casual train fan Rivet routes are fine. For Train nerds and those who like as much accuracy as possible in everything then Rivet don’t cut the mustard when compared to other TSW 3rd parties. What people expect is personal to them but for me personally Rivet routes are ok but I wouldn’t pay full price for them or any other TSW dlc for that matter except for Just Trains which up to now are in a different league from all the others.
You need to have TSW5 before you can get the Leven update. Base TSW5 game is free at the moment then you will get the Leven update also free, so what’s stopping you? Apart from the pain of having to manually download all your previously paid for dlc’s into it which isn’t ideal.
@@frazernewlands2787Look for the base TSW5 game in the store relating to the platform you are using, it isn’t part of any package all you get is the base game and the training centre. Importantly it’s free.
Hey TinTin, so if I’ve downloaded the free starter pack and have TSW5 now can i download my previous routes from TSW4 to the new TSW5? Also if i wanna buy new routes like WCML Euston-Milton Keynes and the new Preston-Carlisle routes is it best just buying the Standard/Deluxe/Special Edition or just buy the add ons?
I've been learning to drive the 101. A strange beast indeed and thankfully you can control the gears using the D pad on an XBox controller. I have to say I am very disappointed with the Pendolino DLC. It has crashed TSW5 on my XBox S twice already while trying to do one of the scenarios. Searching online informs me this is a common problem. There is little point in having scenarios you can't complete. I will try a timetable run and if it crashes again I will be looking for a refund. I'm not really a fan of EMUs anyway so it will be no big loss.
The bit of track that carries on at Leven is where the line once carried on to the docks.
Perfect thanks mate
It had been so long that I forgot we were getting this. I'll give it a run! Thx!!

13:50 thats why just trains are way better thsn anyone, u can free roam anywhere in thier routes unlike dtg and rivet gsmes.

Yep they take while to shut nature of the plug door system
The ballast is a rusty red colour in Scotland not graphite grey like in England
They sneaked this out then. . Had no idea it had been released. .
Found all the cats on ECML PBO-DON, and now we have a doggo on Scotrail. Shame they're not collectibles
Yeah the dog is quite good. Not sure on his story, if he is really at Leven Station etc

Why isn’t the class 158 on the timetable I through that is what they were gonna add to the route
Are you talking about the Skyhook Games 158? It's not out yet

Is the scotrail class 158 worth it if I have the Fife circle line, midland mainline and Cathcart circle but no Edinburgh to Glasgow?
Well the 158 is a great loco dlc imo. In today’s video I just did a free roam and I quite enjoyed it. You could buy it in a sale too for extra value
@TinTin_57 Definitely considering getting it. And obviously looking forward to the WCML over shap
If you only have TSW4 and not 5 but you have the Fife Circle can you still get the Leven update or do you need to have TSW5?
As far as I am aware it is a route specific thing so if you own the route in either version you should get it

There seems to be a glitch where the stop market at leven is miles away from the end of the line
It’s rivet, it’s more than likely not a glitch just them not putting much effort into making it realistic

Maybe that's where it actually is. I duno I've never been there myself. .
how do you create a service in free roam?
Spawn on foot at a station. Then if on controller like me, left dpad as you look at the track, pick your loco

Leven branch all 2 stations 😂 best part of leven is the few miles thrash from the station before the miles to leven branch
Why use free mode when you could just spawn it in timetable mode. Makes it busy
I wouldn’t be able to start at Glenrothes and would have to run the whole service. Just wanted to capture the new branch
@@TinTin_57 ok. I will check that out 👍
Yes. I could have started at Leven in timetable mode and gone the other way but I wanted to match it up to the old video where I ran the 47 down there

how to get it
If you already own the Fife Circle route, this extension came as a free update to it this week
Feel a bit sorry for the devs that worked on this and the new MBTA route cause, everything has been HEAVILY overshadowed by WCML over Shap
