    I’m the same as John, when lifting heavy I eat loadsss but on jump days I hardly eat at all apart from breakfast and I hardly feel hungry for dinner in the evening and I don’t tend to eat much during the day

    One last video idea which is probably one of the one that you might want to look into: the Cal Deitz supported heel off the ground safety bar split squat vs a normal BB back squat? Apparently he's getting HUGE gains with his athletes at the college level, like adding 50lbs to their back squat in 8 weeks without even doing back squatting, just the SB supported split squat. I guess it ilicits a much higher hormonal response than a back squat through some testing he's done. It would be great if you could shed some light on this, I'd love to hear what you think! Increasing your BB back squat that much in experienced athletes without even squatting sounds insane to me.

      @@umangmehta9155 if you don’t have a safety bar I’m sure you can get about the same effects of doing a heavy floating heel RFESS on a smith machine. About the same thing. I know PJF has talked about when he had his 46in vert he didn’t really heavy squat but got his RFESS up to like 275+. And that’s more of a unilateral exercise than split squat. A 275 RFESS is probably pushing close to a 405 parallel squat

    plyos do magic for some people!! i gained ~12 inches of vertical over a year (from like 23 though haha)

    My grandma was asking me about who cooks/ what my daughter eats etc. and she could not fathom the fact we let our daughter eat what and when she wants we just try to keep bad stuff out of the house and she asks for something she wants when she’s hungry. Kids are pretty smart if u give them a chance they can teach u just as much as u teach them
