Absolutely agree! I was watching a podcast yesterday and the host kept interjecting while the guest was trying to speak. Several time the guest didn't even finish his thought and it was something good. Just be quite and let the guest speak.
This interview was a revelation and I'm so glad I stumbled across it. I'll admit that aside from the bigger names that came out of the film KIDS, I didn't quite know what became of the rest of the cast. I'm so happy to see that Leo is thriving and is doing what he loves with no regard to who someone else is or what they have; he is the embodiment of staying in your lane and fuck everything else. As a 45 year old punk husband and dad, I also identify with his attitude surrounding money and how having it doesn't necessarily make you happy. As a last aside, super stoked to hear he's a vinyl fanatic, I was hoping that would be his answer, because of course. Would love to meet and have a sit down with him.
Theres a whole documentary about the KIDS cast post film. It was made by a dude in the film named Hamilton (cant remember last name) and came out sometime in the 2010s.
This is so dope! I was already super engaged with this episode. But when Leo quoted Rodney Mullen, "Ride it till the wheels fall off," that right there. Damn! That's what it's all about. True fucking skater at heart. So awesome! Edit: I'm in tears. I'm laughing so hard listening to y'all, 2 years later, taking about crypto! Shit was so stupid!
Is nice to see Leo doing good. I like that he is not materialistic. I still wish he had more opportunities as an actor because he is a good actor. But, it does seem that he is happy with his life at the moment, and that is all the matters.
Honestly he’s one of the actors who’s gonna be remembered like Phillip Seymour Hoffman. He takes every role so well and he takes the job seriously. Came here after watching Bully and realized how great of an actor he is. Also his Totally for Teens pilot sketch he did where his dad tells him it’s cold outside and to wear his sash is hilarious.
Leo seems like a good person, and he's telling it like it is. Running a gallery is definitely an unreliable business model and even the big dogs fake it half the time. I'd love to intersect with him sometime on a project, he knows some dope people from the generation before we started doing a very similar thing. It would be rad to bring older and younger generations together on the DIY art ethic
Funny they don't know who Damon Wayans is. I'm feeling old. I remember how much we who skated were hate on chased daily by the jocks and gangs. The 90's were fuckin crazy.
Different times! It also hit home about him going to shows. Everyone on their phones. Mosh pit is the soft spot. Good interview. Kids and Trainspotting kept me straight.
Damn so Leo got 5k and everyone else got 1k? I mean i guess since he was technically the lead but Justin really stole the lead tbh. Damn shit is crazy man, the whole lore and legend of "Kids". I just watched the doc last night which is why im here now, bc Leo isnt in the doc or mentioned at all... which is wild strange.
truly laughed when he said i can’t remember the last time my mom gave me money. haha. ur like 40…. dude just went in circles talking about how he isn’t rich.
Leo is like the only one left alive from the KIDS cast. Rosario and Chloe too but whatever about them Edit: I prefer the character Leo played in kids movie rather than this dude he is today. Whatever
Awww Leo looks so cute with his blonde hair.... This is so cringey... the graff stuff is cool man... stick with that. The circle jerk of these washed up celebrities is corny af 🌽
Terrible interview, nobody asked him about being in bully or how that came about? Really? Did they even know anything about him other than the fact he was in kids ?
so nice to just let the guest talk with not much interruption. great listen

Leo is such a genuine dude; appreciate y’all doing this interview
Super dope. Thank you for having him on. The KIDS movie is NYC Legend.
Leo a real one, really like hearing him talk.
This is probably my favorite episode yall have done so far.
seems like just such a treat of a human being
It’s nice to see Cousin Greg from Succession get into the gallery world.

Seeing leo with long hair
@12:15 “I don’t even know what I’m doing” as he talks about running art galleries. Hahaha
haven't finished yet but please tell me you ask him to say 'shtoops'?
Best guests

He was in CKY2K
He used to kick me out of premier skate shop when I was a little gromet in jersey. Lol
feels like its the first time ive ever heard Z speak in this episode
Hell yeah.
"There's also people who get Bitcoin then lose their password. And so.. that must suck." Not sure why that made me laugh so hard.
Good times
It’s nice to see the Salamanca twins have turned a new leaf interviewing legends such as this one.
One min in...Telly!?!?
Fuckin legend 🔥🔥

finally someone exposed the art industry for what it is, hahah, good on ya Leo! Ive been thinking this for years, its all about laundering really..
Leo sounds like a Dave Ramsey person, with no debt, no credit card, and pays cash.
Side hustle can become full hustle, but man..... it's freakin difficult!
The savings account is on the walls. That’s sick.
Tely
Yeah but this guy is from Jersey...
He still ain't brown.
truly laughed when he said i can’t remember the last time my mom gave me money. haha. ur like 40…. dude just went in circles talking about how he isn’t rich.
Such a hipster….. Hehe
