Leo was in line right after River Phoenix passed. Many of his early films were already sewn in to Phoenix (The Basketball Diaries, Titanic, The Quick and the Dead too I believe). Pitt is great but I think he’s more of a heel actor than versatile like Leo and then it’s a look game too.
Thanks a lot for posting, I'm here after watching this movie for probably about the 10th time. It really is an outstanding movie, it blows me away every time I see it. I'm planning to buy the book soon as well
Miss you so much Brad, I miss you calling me and saying come get me, you were my best friend and my heart is still broken like it was yesterday. I sit here an watch this video and i can't stop crying. Its hurts so much! I will never forget the time we spent haning out in K Town. I love you my little Brad!
Sorry for your loss. Brad Renfro was a fantastic actor & I enjoyed all his movies. Every time I hear that song Wasteland by 10 Years, I think about him. I didn’t know him personally but I’m thankful to have these wonderful movies & characters he portrayed to remember him by 💜
@@TheSacredPathways Sorry for your loss mate, he looks like a real g. Oh btw were the sex scenes with Rachel Miner real? I read they were dating at the time
This is an excellent movie. It reminds me of Kids, which was a great movie as well. Kelli Garner is so talented and gorgeous. She ended up in alot of mainsteam movies like Man of the House with Tommy Lee Jones. She's amazing!
and I agree the story is insanely interesting, I really do not get why was this movie not so well rated, the story, acting, atmosphere are so well made, in fact the murder scene is almost 1:1 copy on how exactly it happened
@@agamazofficial totally agree. It’s funny a couple of them comment on not looking like the real people. Its really interesting the part when Daniel Franzese is asked about his opinion on the cast and curiously he doesnt mention Bijou Phillips and this is because he exposed her years ago on a Facebook post how bully she was in the set, even to the fact she made him cry due to her offenses against him, and he even states how Brad Renfro had to console him, i read about this recently and since hasn't left my mind
@@theloner7512 If you type "Daniel Franzese Brad Renfro post" in search bar it will give you the link to Daniel's original fb post from November 2017 about his experience on Bully set, how badly Bijou treated him and how Michael and Brad defended him.
When you really think about some of the roles and quality of actors Brad Renfro acted with in his short career. Some of the many actors he worked with: Susan Sarandon, Ian McKellan, Kevin Bacon, Mickey Rourke, Scarlet Johansson, and the list goes on. I think this was by far his best acting work and best film. It’s sad how quickly his career began to tank after this, sadly due to his addiction worsening. It really took a toll on him physically as well.
5000 views!!!! Wow thanks so much!!! I recorded it in real time for the best bitrate, if you have any other interviews you want me to preserve on youtube, go ahead!
Sorry, i welcome differing opinions, but i grew up in mostly suburbs, and i loved it! Could basically walk to a lot of the percentage of my friends houses, or I'd get home from school, and look forward to going outside and finding other kids out there to play basketball or some form of kickball, baseball, etc or we'd go insjde play video games, then maybe get some snacks or I'd stay for dinner, some of my friends who were also neighbors had old school Italian famiky members, so it'd be a real treat to enjoy some of their homemade pasta and sauce, i mean in 11th and 12th grade i did get a little wild with drinking and smoking pot, but that had nothing to do with the suburbs lol, i cannot state enough positive memories i have of the suburbs!!!
I just recently watched this movie and yeah i liked it but man this whole group made some really stupid decisions towards the end and reallt didnt know how too keep there mouths shut and keep things low key.

In another universe Michael Pitt would be as famous as Leonardo DiCaprio and Leo would be relatively unknown actor.

Pitt can play any character.
Yes, I think they pretty similar but michael is more like a niche actor
I love this movie so fucckin much, rip Brad Renfro forever in our hearts
yeah this movie is so underrated
Rest in peace Brad. Your movies are still amazing.
Michael Pitt is a great actor. His cold hearted portrayal as Jimmy in Boardwalk Empire was amazing.
I really like the actor too
