Thus far I've done a half dozen auditions for ACX and been rejected on every one. Rejection sucks, but I'm not discouraged and your videos have been reminding me to keep at because I know it's only one VO avenue and brighter days are coming. Thanks for the positivity!!!

Lol My voice really starts to wear out after a handful of pages. Best of luck with that, though. Once you start seeing traction there, you can keep quite a bit of steady working coming in.
@DayOneVoiceover It was fun and very different than what I had been trained on and auditioning for. It was 3 hours in the studio and had to bring the high energy. I did really enjoy it even though my voice was shot the next day.

@@PaulMason-n6i you’re 100% on the right track if you get short listed. At the very least, it means the technical aspect is on point. It’s just a matter of performance and having the voice they’re looking for from that point on. Congrats on that!

@@quinomas9342 thank you! Yes, it’s a Rode NT1 but it’s a Signature Series. I believe it’s the same exact mic as the 5th Gen but has only XLR whereas the 5th has added USB connectivity. I’m really happy with it and can’t foresee myself upgrading for a very long time.
