      This guy is really good, but I'm just not seeing the epicness here. Rob always blows me away. This guy, while also rather humble, as awesome as he is didn't have any wow factor; at least for me.

      Rob Scallon by the looks of it is a guitarist applying guitar technique to all of the other instruments. Obviously he's talented but these guys are apples and oranges. When it comes to uke he wouldn't hold a candle to Jake. My opinion of course.

    Jimi is one of my favorite guitarists of all time, but that doesn't mean he was perfect. he was actually rather sloppy with his playing. The reason he's so world renowned is because of how revolutionary he was for the guitar and music in general. This guy looks much healthier than Jimmy was, and is technically astounding 👌

    • @geraldillo
      @geraldillo 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I was thinking the same thing. I love Jimi's music; he wrote nice songs, always had nice melodic solos, he was a real innovative with recording and equipment and he really "felt the blues", but I think his technical abilities are overrated.

      Salve de Slave Not capable of playing acoustic ?? Have you heard "Hear my train a Comin" on his blues album cause he does two versions, a 12 string acoustic and electric church version. Of course people play better than Hendrix but it's not necessarily about the sophistication of his playing but rather it was the creation of new sounds and the advancement of a genre that people know so little about (blues), and also being a big part in the psychedelic/funk genre.

      Hendrix was a genius on making music, but he never was the best guitar player. SRV could play 10x better than him. but hendrix create insane pieces of art and its because that he is considered a god. he change the history of music.(sorry for my english btw)

    Well, so called Ukulele,comes from an instrument called Cavaquinho that comes from the north of Portugal. Portuguese sailors brought it to the islands. The reason was it was a small instrument that they could carry around without taking much place,then local people adapted it to their taste and culture. All the old 'Ukuleles' were made by people whose names still have a portuguese origin. I don't if people from the islands and abroad do know about this.
