This whole song is honestly a contender for my favorite Inabakumori song, but I adore the parts at 0:40 and 1:53 with every fiber of my being, I don't know why, I just absolutely love those parts so much. Makes me feel unusually nostalgic (and just sounds really good lol)

床(とこ)のイメージって『横』になる場所の感覚が強いけど、『縦』も意識した楽曲の内容になっているのが面白い。
夜空も地球にいる私たちから見れば、昔の人達の考え方からも分かるように、平面的に見えるし見る。でも、宇宙はある意味私達から見て縦方向にもグングン広がってる。
心の穴も同じで、大切なものがなくなった時、とても大きな穴がポッカリと広がっているように感じる。ただ結局のところ、欠けているのは「失った分」だけであって、大きいようで大きくない。
その代わり、どれだけ年を重ねて身長が伸びていっても(縦に伸びても)、失った所は残るから心の穴は空いたまま、縦に深くなり続けるのだと。そんな風に個人的に感じました。
