There was a pair of these at a thrift store near me for $225 a few weeks ago. Seemed right off the bat this was a red flag, if you're going to sell these back to a small thrift/consignment shop...either they are fake or the person had no idea what they just gave away...which does happen. But it did sell as soon as they posted it on their IG acct. Not THAT unusual for this place to have Jordan's and I have purchased a few pretty cheap a while back - thankfully those are legit. I just saw these Shattered's again yesterday at the same store (guess the person returned it?) But it now had a new price tag of $99 and "Not Real" on them. Quick look on them, the one thing that stuck out to me was the "Nike Air" tag on the tongue was huge to the point it looked sloppy like this pair in the video. I didn't really check anything else.
Supposedly that is "italian" leather. Also, one thing to point out besides the different shade of the orange, and is always a dead giveaway and what I noticed first, even before looking closely at the orange--there are definite sparkles in the black parts of the shoe, that's something no UA I've seen has ever done right.
Lmao. In no way is it Italian leather. It’s the same garbage they use on all their Jordan’s back then. All black base Jordan’s do that sparkle thing too. Something oxidizing from the tanning process I believe
