Known as “Villa Aurora,” the 16th-century estate is among the most expensive homes for sale in the world, with a starting bid in the hundreds of millions of dollars. I have been privileged to travel all over the world and Rome is definitely when my favorite places although I would never honestly consider buying there, not that I wouldn't have anywhere near the down payment. Rome is bustling and noisy and full of tourists in high season but imagining this mansion... no, it's not on Lake Como or the Mediterranean... It's not a private island... But imagining... Walking into a room and looking up and seeing a Caravaggio! That Galileo probably stood on that roof! Wow, simply wow!

I agree….honestly, if a person remarries, they SHOULD understand that children from a first marriage will take preeminence in the line of inheritance- it’s the FAIR thing to do. If the person marrying into the family has a problem w/that, then you KNOW why they’re there: for the money. Children don’t ask to be born but if a parent CHOOSES to remarry, it’s immoral to allow someone else to step-in, deposing others (the children) who were there first.
