I guess PNG can have a NRL team. Once the players get use to the NRL system of competing at the highest level. The PNG Kumuls will be unstoppable. Les Go 18th NRL team from PNG is now or never.
Politics is already a major part of NRL, so this is simply another growth period in the best game of all. I agree with Albo, this is an opportunity that does not get much easier. China is a country to be very cautious about, so NRL & PNG is a logical and accurate way of shoring up local support. China & India cannot be trusted as they are new to the game and use underhanded tactics for power growth. China and India have already taken over Australia, so we need to protect our national identity and pastime's. China and India cannot be trusted as they are both desperate and dishonest, easily swayed by corruption and delusions of grandeur.
We should build teams all through the pacific, pay and opportunity linked to NRL will create strong bonds.
As an Aussie I'd love to see PNG in the NRL.

In my opinion the next 3 teams should be as follows
1. PNG
2. Adelaide rams 🐏
3. Central coast - north Sydney bears 🐻
