    Love seeing Moblins in an open area as opposed to the labyrinth walls we see in OOT. This whole map seems like something we would’ve seen out of Ura Zelda

    This is so creative and yet so authentic, almost feels like a really awesome interpretation of the area before the final palace in Adventure of Link. Which is cool, since apparently Ocarina started out as a 3D remake of AoL, so this is coming full circle!

    Hello DebugLog. The map is impressive. I have seen that the bow is the same, or at least looks like the Hero's Bow from Majoras Mask. I love that you made the moblins and big moblins able to attack in multiple directions. I always tell you this, but it's true, your talent is enormous and your way of expressing ideas is wonderful.     It's super nice to see that you're utilising enemies that essentially only appeared in one area of the original game, though I must say it does feel a little harsh to to reclimb some paths if you get knocked away by the big guys with the clubs... maybe a little too harsh even.
    Anyways, the music choice is quite nice like usual. It perfectly encapsulates the feeling of a dry rocky area such as this one.
    Visuals are fitting too, they give me some "rocky desert at sunset" vibes. I especially like how you gave a lot of the textures a red tint at some places.

    Great! One small not really issue I had with Ocarina was the lack of Moblins in general. They were all in one small area and felt almost like an unused concept

    Just by seing all of those mindblowing custom maps makes me wish nintendo made a third game based on the hero of time. I think that you and others genius oot modders have the potential to recreate one.

    Pretty incredible! Love the dynamic/transparent hud and new sword unsheathe sound. Plus, no cutscene for the door opening when you step on the switch is obviously fantastic optimization, and I'm glad to see shield dropping is still in even if crouch stabs are out. Map looks fantastic, the shortcut is cool, but things are a bit sparse in terms of items/npc's/interactables, though I assume more will be added later. For example, take maps like lost woods or zora's river in vanilla oot. Pretty small maps, but packed with collectibles, grottos, puzzles, and other secrets. It makes them feel more complete, and gives players a reason to keep exploring past the first run through (Though I will say grottos are not a very interesting reward for exploration, as they are almost always full of useless item refills or rupees). This map is very impressive, and looks like it would serve it's purpose well as an enemy gauntlet/combat heavy area, which is I assume what you are going for, but even so, adding even some bushes or pots could make the map feel fuller and more fleshed out, and make players spend more time in the map besides. Again, I don't know if you plan on adding more to this map or if you have decided that you want it to be focused on solely combat, but this is just something I noticed as I was watching.

Of course, part of game design is figuring out when to incorporate feedback and when to stick to your original vision if you're confident in it. I guess I'm saying: Don't change things just because other people tell you to, but only if you also feel they are good changes!

    I'm always interested in an alternate Death Mountain! It may seem a little annoying if the Moblins knock you off the higher pathway since redoing progress is not exactly fun. I do like how there are Bomb Flowers placed near Moblins, which adds a degree of puzzle solving to this trek.

    This is breathtaking, amazing stuff!
    If you want suggestions - there are so many things you can add to the existing architecture. Something I'd like to focus on is enemies. I'd take the existing moblin models and textures, and modify them a little to create some new enemies.
    A simple starting point would be re-using animations from existing humanoid foes like Stalfos and Iron Knuckles, and applying a moblin texture with different colouring and decorations on them, then peppering them throughout the level. A moblin with an axe and shield, and a huge moblin with a two-handed hammer.

      To expand on this with a full hypothetical roster of four different Moblin types and their respective roles:
      Spear Moblins: Patrol and fast dash attackers
      Club Moblins: "Sniper/Turrets" (since in practice they stand still and emit long ranged attacks)
      Axe and Shield Moblins: Ambush and duellists
      Big Hammer Moblins: Miniboss fights and key bearers
      That would up the enemy variety and allow the area to keep its Moblin theme, and best integrate the two existing, unused sorts of Moblins with variants of the other enemy types in OoT.

    Wow those moblins aren't playing around and I love it! Always wanted the moblins to be better utilized in OOT and I always thought it would be cool if they had a fortress (finally got that in Wind Waker). This is awesome though. Beautiful scenery and intense gameplay. Love it! This makes me think of the Moblin Mountains from Oracle of Ages but in way more detail of course. God bless ❤️

    The moblin with the big knockback at 3:35 seems like it could be really annoying since it's somewhat hidden and knocks you off the cliff. Maybe it would help to have a texture on the ground showing where the shockwave can hit you? Like the blast of his attacks have worn away the dirt over time.

    Sheesh, you’ve never seen the moblins put outside that forest maze. I see that bomb trail behind the cage moblin, this design is phenomenal as always. This gives a great feeling of a late game area. Did you adjust the knock back of the moblins? I wonder if you can have the ones up the mountain have less knock back since it seems so brutal, perhaps as a different enemy type with that change.

      if you follow the normal play flow, when you are knocked off the cliff, you will be spawned from the shortcut, where I did not show it in the video

    What really got me was that the Moblin's can now turn around to face Link, rather than remain locked in one direction, where Link can take them out without any trouble. Also, no Cutscenes for Doors opening up.
    I'm really looking forward to this Rom Hack.

    I didn't notice the custom hookshot until now!
    Even so, I like the map a lot, and the music is pretty upbeat, I feel it fits the scenary a lot
    Although, despite how good the area looks, I just *KNOW* it will be a pain to go through it normaly, and would probably make me rage quit and keep playing some other time
    That reminds me, where do you spawn if you die/save quit? In the last camp fire visited?
    Pd.: I like how Navi is replaced by the narration similar to Undertale for example, since Link is alone here, isn't he?

      In the game, you are born in front of the last opened door. These moblins are expected to have their ways to be easily killed or avoided, I wouldn't show them all in this video

    I cannot wait to play your game. There's hype for tears of the kingdom, and then there's the level if hype for this. Everything you put out looks amazing, and it really shows off what oot truly had the potential to be.

    0:40 I see you disabled Roll i-frames? Cool, probably wouldn't suit this type of gameplay anyway.
    Improving Moblin military education to where they can function in more than one dimension is a real game changer! They're actually a threat now😂
    It's up to you if you want to keep the spear Moblins essentially invincible.
    Are you going to crank up the damage sometime though? The Lighting Knuckle makes it sound weird, but with OoT's busted combat there's always a concern that survival ends up too easy.
    We got 14 hearts here, potions/fairies AND free infinite health refills with the new campfires. I think you are free to make giant boulders and attacks that send you flying do more than chip damage.
    Playing around with balancing damage values and campfire placements sounds like fairly simple late-development work. (not that I'd know)
    How much work do you reckon it would take to improve elemental effects, now that I see the Torch Slug? Fire damage is inconsequential in OoT as long as you don't have a wooden shield. Making it so the fire doesn't go out on its own and you're forced to roll, or else you take exponential damage might be interesting.
    Your hack is both mechanically inventive and artistically inspired! The demo will be VERY interesting. The new item models look pretty stylish, and I never mentioned how slick the new animation for losing hearts looks!
    You even managed to speed up Link's damage animations 😎

      @@Tambable000 I use blender to model, Sharp Ocarina to create scenes. Basically the process of scene making is just boring and time-consuming, so I haven't lived streaming it

      Imagine seeing Link getting attacked by some Bosses in a cutscene, where he tryes to land a hit and after that the fight begins.
