    Amazing craftsmanship, I am so proud that England produced the finest car in the world.
    I own a 1989 Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit 1 saloon, and I can testify to the build quality and indeed reliability, of these marvellous motor cars.

      Absolutely beautiful two door saloon, I love this particular Rolls Royce, It has lovely flowing lines, and indeed is beautiful from any angle.
      The best ❤👍🇬🇧.

      Congratulations, I'm a proud owner of a 1982 Silver Spur.

      What sort of clientele do you get in that saloon? When they get liquored up do they have fights in there like in the westerns? About those two doors, are they swinging? So, this place was built in 1973, in Mulliner Park Ward. Whereabouts is that?

    Utterley delightful. I am fortunate to own a very small collection of Rolls-Royces (and Bentley) dating from 1922 to 1997, and whilst I knew it took 4 months to build a Corniche, seeing how much hand detailing was involved is enlightening. Thank you.

    Are you kidding me? No wonder these things cost so much! Can you believe this? Metal sculpting? These motorcars are a work of art!

    The film must be recorded in the late seventies (not eighties), since it covers Silver Shadow and Corniche with CHROME BUMPERS!

      Sorry, I probably should have made it more clear. The film was recorded off a VHS tape in the late 1980s. The film itself is from the early 1970s.

    Well it ain’t now! The radiator is beginning to disappear, the spirit is now sitting on the painted body, and don’t get me started on those dreadful led lights installed in the head lining, talk about vulgar and tasteless!

    Imagine lead loading without a mask, they were real men but probably sacrificed their lives for these cars.

    Wonderful these where real RRs.... Today a RR is just a BMW with Rolls Royce badge... Shameful iam suprised the bolshy Germans still allowed these cars to be manufactured in the UK.... 😂

    When England was great and Rolls Royce were tasteful cars driven by those who appreciated them. These days they're re-badged German rubbish owned by footballers. Such a shame.

    I wish they had made a turbo diesel for these cars.

    • @deltic
      @deltic  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I think any turbo diesel engine in the early 1970s (or any diesel engine for that matter at the time) would have been far too crude for use in a car like this. Today's turbo diesels would have been a better fit.
