Kentucky has been dominate for years and cowboys have 1 great season and have been mediocre since '10 with the exception of '14 and all the sudden we expect them to win the super bowl with two rookies an underperforming WR and a mediocre at best defense.

As a Cowboys fan it is ridiculous to expect a Superbowl led by rookies, but I have to be fair. Our record says we have to represent the NFC and possibly win the Superbowl or I'll consider this season a bust. I may be the only person who feels this was Romo's year if he could have stayed healthy. Unfortunately, his body gave in (thanks, Cliff Avril for that awkward landing on Romo's back) and his best shot at winning the big one and cementing himself as a Cowboy's great. Dak is on his way to being great, but, rookie qbs don't ever pan out well enough to win the big one.

There's gotta be a first person to do everything. No rookie has ever had a team like Dallas. A very much improving defence and all the weapons in the world on offence

That man can't coach, if he could coach as good as he recruits it would be UCLA all over again.

UCLA players couldn't leave after one season. Massive difference!!! Imagine if Cal could keep all his guys for four seasons, he almost went undefeated a couple of years ago with a few sophomores and freshmen!

Ben Stewart As hard as I try to, I can not disagree with you. I consider myself a pretty good couch coach, haven't missed a UK game in a decade or more, and watched him make SEVERAL mistakes coaching per game. Substituting players at the wrong time or simply substituting a player because they made a mistake off a ball screen when they were smoking hot shooting 100% or near. Last season for example: Starting Nick Richards every game and pulling him after playing just 4 minutes in 90-95% of the time. He left him in the game one time and he went 11-11 his first 11 shots. I'm not saying he should've left him in, I'm saying he started 4-5 freshman just so he could say he starts 4-5 freshman if they loose. Drives me nuts that he puts recruiting first and foremost and he uses the fact that he starts freshman so supreme talent sees that he starts freshman whether they deserve it or not. This (preseason) he's starting sophomores and I betcha that'll stop later on. He'll go back to starting freshman and bringing in the upperclassmen super early in the game. History repeats itself over and over. A vast majority of the public can't put a finger on it but this is a big reason he has that reputation of being a better recruiter than a coach. Remember when Miller won SEC Player of the tournament as a junior and became the 6-7 man his senior year, again, freshman always started.

No way - his track record in tournament games says other - he lies to players to garner buddy system that fails when they lose in tournament like this year. No way do you have the top two guards/ Jarod V, Silcha and Wenyen and not figure out how to win every game with the high-flying Hammer Hamidou- another weakness that ( John acts very timid and scared when pressure is on - from what i hear he pauses - says one play then half the time have to change it in the last minute / just look at the last two yrs. and against Wisconsin and another game against Florida........you tell them to run and get back - but they loose focus and let somebody hit two wide open threes -
