If the concern was about the use of the word “queer”, the usage in the story was not as pejorative, but as an adjective to describe something as odd. So there was no “bad taste”. Regardless, I agree that it is vital to preserve works as they were originally penned.
Wonderful stories and narration!
I enjoy the paintings.
Thanks another great story and well done to me.

There always has and will be someone whinig adout the way something is written , sculpted , painted etc. Its historical, leave it alone.
The use of the slur. Bad taste. Should be changed.
We do not (and will not) modify the author's original work in any way.

Agreed, that is why we do not (and will not) modify the source material.
