Love Ms Christie, but these stories are practically plagiarised. They're just like the Sherlock Holmes stories, The Man with the Crocked Lip and the Bruce Partington Affair
Christie was not an original thinker. She was not even a very good author. Her contemporaries, Dorothy L Sayers & Margery Allingham, were far superior. Possibly, Christie was more popular because of her simple style and, as you pointed out, familiar story lines.
@Royce-fw1du thanks for this explanation. It's disappointing, because I've always really admired her stories. I only recently heard of Sayers and wondered why she wasn't as popular, but like you said, it's Christie's simplicity that makes her popular. I'm learning to admire her from a different perspective. I still love Poirot and wish she'd developed the character of Mr Satterswaithe and Mr Quinn a bit more
Thank you. These stories help me stay chill. Narration is great.
Great performance. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you
AI because it repeatedly says "blood " to rhyme with food, not "blood " to rhyme with mud"
I heard riflead instead of rifled I know it’s spelled rifled. That’s English 4U 😂 For the life of me I still dont know if I used the correct “it’s “.
Aye it’s abysmal TH-cam is now littered with these by people who don’t understand the spoken word
@@Juniorsparkie Definitely AI….. The odd mangled English word that’s not pronounced as it’s spelt is a give away….French pronunciation appalling too!
Always enjoy.
A classic tale done more than justice by your brilluant narration. Many thanks 🙏
I love Jason Fraser! His voice is wonderful!
Its free and some folks still moan. It makes these folks seem like entitled brats. Thanks for the free AI recording.
the palm trees i like them not
@wdobni Ah yes, but that is how Poirot speaks English, is it not? ;)
Please , it’s NOT ‘septi-came-ia’ it’s pronounced ‘septi-seem-ia’
