Sorry but this narration is not for me, it sounds like you are just reading from a script and not telling a story, too deadpan.

I agree. It's
difficult to know who the characters are when the narrator speaks in a rushed monotone.
Hugh Fraser and David Suchet are so excellent with altering their voices and accents to give each character a definite personality. I find this narrator disappointing and will avoid any more of his narrated stories.
