    Reasons to Let People Go
    - When the relationship is toxic (it hurts me to be with you)
    - When your personal growth is hindered
    - When you have different paths
    - When they consistently betray you
    - When you are incompatible
    - When they emotionally drain you
    - When they are a manipulator
    - When they squander your time (dating - if after 3 mos. a guy hasnt articulated that he wants to be in a relationship, move on)
    - When the relationship is one sided
-When not letting the relationship go disrespects yourself (ex. someone constantly cheating on you)

I married a toxic man and the pastors just told me to stay in the relationship.i stayed for 5 years and it got worse.finally i said i dont think God would want me to stay here so i left. New beginning. He was constantly yelling and fighting with me. And he was a believer but he had anger problems.and major ocd about how the house looked but it was pretty clean so he had the problem from his childhood.his mother was very abusive and he took that out on me.we had a lot in common but his problem was he just had anger issues.

That’s amazing! I was in one too for 5 and a half years. My suggestion for you is to find God if you haven’t already and ask Him to help you be released from the past soul tie with that person and be redeemed from the abuse ❤ sometimes therapy is really good too because we don’t always see the internal damage that person has done to us

This message was for me. I have struggled for years with toxic family relationships. My family is very small, but disjointed. Constant back biting, and emotional turmoil ,has plagued us for years. The disloyalty and betrayel has caused depression and many sleepless nights. God finally blessed me to move away, but I kept going back hoping things would change, but the ugliness always rears its head. I have struggled with survival guilt, so Ive tried to include everyone in my blessings, but Ive been unsuccessful. It has hurt me terribly but I've had to let go. As a southern woman family is everything to me, but peace is liberating. Thanks for confirmation that I've made the right decision❤Thank you pastor🙏🏽

You're so very right about ppl learning themselves after 25. GOD tried to reach me early in my teens, but I had too many toxic ppl in my life preventing me from reaching my spiritual destination. They tried to destroy me, but they've only made me stronger. I've learned to be alone without being lonely. I've learned I have the Great Comforter (The HOLY SPIRIT)! This is a beautiful message. Children really didn't ask to come into this world. Parents have a great duty to raise children & we parents should do what we do out of LOVE for our children!!!

Thank you, Pastor Blakes for another awesome video!
We can make it, just us and God. I am to the point in my life where I just want to be alone with God. People will suck the very life out of us if we allow it. I especially love that video "Toxic Empathy", and will go back and watch it over and over again any time I feel the urge to "help" someone financially that doesn't know how to manage their money wisely. My mother used to tell me not to impose on anyone. In other words, never ask anyone for anything. She taught me to be very independent, trust myself and God. To be responsible.

I know someone that has been in a relationship for over 30yrs, he’s not going to marry her she says she don’t want to be married, but what else is she going to say at this point it’s hurtful, but I know for me this would’ve been over 29 yrs ago!!!! It’s absolutely embarrassing to go to all the weddings they go to & be asked why y’all isn’t married, I feel a person can’t do no more then you allow them to.

This really helped me to also deal with forgiveness, which is hard, but to view it as getting rid of toxic influence is easier...

The most powerful part of the story between Samuel and Saul, is when Saul falls at Samuels feet and grabs a hold of his robe and it rips and Samuel looks down and says something like, that is how God has separated from you.

You can tell them that God needed them back and He'll take care of them! Then find something to help them keep in touch eg a memory of a beautiful place to help them associate the absence,

When Naomi gave her two daughters-in-law Ruth and Orpah, the option to leave her and go back to their families, Ruth chose to go with Naomi, met Boaz, and became the great-grandmother of King David. Ruth was okay with leaving her people and her sister-in-law behind into her destiny. Jacob chose to leave his father-in-law Laban because he had to go toward his destiny to create
the nation of children of Israel God's chosen people.
