I’ve only listened to rotten Sarah maybe like twice and I’m someone who listens to all kinds of chill and darker music, but something about that song is so unsettling the way Tyler raps on it he literally sounds like he went mad and the beat has nothing light sounding in it. unlike songs from bastard and goblin which were darker in nature they at least didn’t sound all the way dark like in the beats even tho Sarah is a dark song the beat is at least groovy and tron cat the beat is dark but Tyler is still throwing out funny lyrics here and there, but rotten Sarah was all around unsettling sounding to me. If Tyler would of fully realized zombie circus it would of sounded like a horror movie on cd which goes to show Tyler is very talented cause it really made me feel off haha. Another similar song with vibes just like rotten Sarah which again I’ve only listened to a handful of times cause it is dark af as well is prom queen by icp check that one out.
The thing I never understood about this story was that XL said to not do the album because it was too dark, so he replaced it with Goblin. Fucking Goblin. I just find it hard to believe
This was told by a guy named pac aka pacifist who has most of tyler unreleased old stuff etc, this story was revealed to be fake, apparently this mixtape got delayed cuz he was working on goblin along side with it. The mixtape is extremely unfinished.
First off, thank you for making this video. It's now something concrete in internet history that yes this trilogy existed and was for the most part planned. Though i remember seeing from old forums that Wolf does not count as one of Tyler's sessions and there was gonna be a 4th album. Obviously a whole bunch of names were thrown out even at one point the EarlWolf collab album being planned as the finale. But after Wolf Tyler didn't really wanna go back to that subject matter as he was happier now and couldn't be disengenuous (idk how to spell). That's especially Wolf seems the happiest and most narratively focussed even with the music videos. For story sake i do wonder what he initially had planned to end it off because it wasn't Cherry Bomb. That was like an epilogue that came earlier than expected (mostly because i have this knowledge). But Tyler like Mac has so many songs and possibly albums in the vault we may never hear it
What abt Bastard? Also idk if this should be considered one of his albums since it was removed from everything and I wish it wasn’t because Bastard is extremely dark but rlly good. You can find the full album jus by looking it up on YT btw.

Wolf 2010 is not dark 💀 pac was capping . Saved you some time from watching the video. We got most of the songs from the era and they’re not even dark , just unfinished or never recorded and just a beat.
