- Once in a while a product comes along that - even though it might not be perfect - just makes our lives so, so much better. For Tom, the most recent example is this Dirtlej Dirtsuit Classic.
Seems like a good idea. About 10 years ago when I used to race motocross I used wear painters cover-alls over my gear during the morning practice when it was muddy. Same idea
LOL looks like a big green Teletubby! Looks like a great idea. The black version looks much better, I wish they would have added something to break up the front of the green one.
I literally lol'd when you popped up on my screen.....

I do ride in the pouring down rain often (Washington State). I would love something like this for rain that did not cost the price of a bike.
Its 200 quid so not really the price of a bike unless your riding a cheap ass bike

I have one and it’s great. I agree on the torso length, I’m 6”1 and have a large and it does pull on my shoulders a bit. But not enough to put me off oh and mine is all black so most people don’t notice it

yep - the industry standard measure of waterproofing is done in mm though ;)
I rather stick with jacket, pants, shorts, I got one jacket I use all year, I prefer to have a more universal kit I can use for everything whenever,
you forgot to talk about the pockets, you can'
t have a big phone in them, so another reason to not get it.
I have to have windproof & waterproof clothing, not water resistant.

some have big upper body but short legs, some got wide hips some narrow, so a kit like this won't fit everyone, and you have to use a seperate kit if you dont want both.
An interesting idea, but I'd be greeted by howls of laughter if I met my mates wearing that. Water resistant shorts and jackets already exist. If it's wet and muddy I don't really see the advantage of having the two joined together - you're going to get caked in dirt whatever.
Jim Burdett The big upside is: Your unterwear and nothing but the dirtsuit gets wet and dirty. Take it off and put your normal clothes on.
And really why do you care what your mates think- if theyre friends they should accept/ appreciate it....

yep, it's the pricier version i referred to, with slightly 'better' material i believe

I bought a dirtsuit sfd edition 2 years ago. It should have been the NON PLUS ULTRA sort of suit for MTB….got under some rain couple of months ago and I got back soaking wet. Contacted the company and they suggested a mild wash and some waterproofing spray.
Is that the best you can do after spending some 300€ and more?!

If you’d like to ride under the rain just like me, avoid this suit. It just won’t lepperò you dry!!

Do you look fat in this? Yes. It is kinda sloppy in the wrong places. And that color though.. vomit green. They really need to hire some designers over there. But the idea is nice i guess..
