    4:12 You're very correct here.
    Your skin can't actually feel water on it's own. It's usually temperature changes that makes your brain recognize something as feeling wet 😃

    I currently wear a Helly Hansen LEKNES suit, cost around £185 at the time, mostly used in the Winter, very warm in the cold weather and has great waterproofing.

      @@BOTG_Adventures Just a personal choice for me as they do suits for folks that are very tall, had trouble trying to find a suit that fitted me with 34-inch leg size, most do 32-33 inch leg which is too short for me, given it was a lot to fork out for the suit it's been worth every penny, also the RNLI use/wear Helly Hansen equipment, says it all really, definitely has kept me warm and dry all day long.

    Good vid mate - what a link to where we can buy this and what is the price?

    The problem with this suit is that the arse isn’t waterproof for more than 15 minutes. The Endura suit is significantly better at keeping you dry. Bought the Dirtlej and ended up having to buy the Endura because I was getting a soggy back end on every rain ride. Quite disappointing.

      The endura one is great and I got it for £130

      @@BOTG_Adventures that much is true. I just wish it was actually waterproof. 👍🏻

    looks good, been thinking about one of these.. don't even think its that expensive, if you buy top and bottoms separately you can expect to pay £150 each easily so.. like anything, the only downside would be crashing and ruining the suit rather than a jacket or trouser.

    Is yours the steel blue colour Andy??

      @zombiejase 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BOTG_Adventures nice yours looks a lot darker than the ones on the tube? Mabe the older ones were slightly lighter blue!?

    Another good video, and the suit does look nice, but staying dry is virtually Impossible. I'll stick to shorts getting wet and a pack of dry layers when I stop. Anything above freezing tends to get too hot, and sweat can be lethal

      Endura Singletrack suit. £170 and more waterproof than the Dirtlej. Or you could buy the POC dungarees for the bargain price of £425 and still have to buy a jacket to go with them. The world has gone mad. 🤣

    • @205RallyTeam
      @205RallyTeam 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@therealphilistein You have that wrong, the Singletrack is 10000 and the Dirtlej 18000 waterproof rating. The Endura MT500 is more waterproof than the Dirtlej but costs over £400.

    • @therealphilistein
      @therealphilistein 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@205RallyTeam yeah but from experience the Singletrack keeps my butt dry for longer than the Dirtlej. It’s literally the lower back panel on the Dirtlej that lets in water almost inmediately. It’s a great suit otherwise and, as mentioned in other comments, very robust compared to the Enduras. 👍🏻
