      I thought the same, then i went to Pemberton in W.A and i sat there for hours watching an f250 destroy the exit track and everyone else trying to get out after him in the rain. It is mesmerizing.

      Josh Thompson you are 100% correct. Speed and revs don't work, Brains and Tire pressure do work as he well displayed all be it with a little bit of flair. When will some of these learn to gain a good contact patch between tire and ground, FFS drag racers use this too for traction. Just my thoughts John, Australia.

    Another classic vid. Just goes to show how many people with 4x4 that have no idea how to drive. When one person drives from the water all the way up the hill and out in reverse he has the correct tyre pressure and in low range. That just proves how easy it is.

    • @6226superhurricane
      @6226superhurricane 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      more like he was worried it wouldn't make it going forwards so reversed up. most 4wds go better in reverse on sand which is a good thing, if you get bogged going forwards you can always reverse out. unless you're a muppet that spins the wheels until it's buried to the frame lol.

    • @jamesnaylor9136

      Short answer no we don't get stuck at inskip or Fraser island, because we have been there many times and know what to expect. Doesn't mean we never get bogged,we have been bogged many times and do from time to time. That's how you learn. Never be afraid of getting bogged at Inskip or Fraser, all ways some one to give a hand.(there's a lot of good blokes ready to give a hand )Hell , I'll recover you if needed. Just have fun safely.

    I can never understand why people run near normal tyre pressures. Sure, running 10-15psi will eventually separate the tyre carcase and tread, but if only on the beach it saves a lot of hassle (I always felt the safety was worth the risk). I've had a few tyres separate and bubble, but to my mind that's what spare tyres are for. Low pressures are at minimum 100-200% better at preventing bogging on soft sand. The second biggie is to drive like a hoon on the tricky stuff as "momentum" is your friend. Low range is useless.

    Abit off topic but still wanted to share - Took my 2016 Mazda BT-50 into Grand Prix Mazda in Caboolture for some clicking noises in the dash.
    Came back to pick the car up, they are replacing it all under warranty also a starter motor and while they were there they threw in some new headlights as the original ones had a slight shade of UV wear.
    There are some good chaps out there I tell ya!!!
