What's the ridgid tool you used in the video? What's the product number?

Like this new tool! Better than the old model! The old model did not have a place to hook up a shop vac. Big fan they add that. It looks like for most woods it has more than a enough power. The Gide is nice. Over all big fan of this new model! Do you know is they will come out with a one + hp dry wall gun? Thank you!

They already have a drywall screw gun that's brushless, but not technically HP.

Weird seeing ryobi work their way into a premium homeowners brand. You really can't match this little guy for the price. It's a step down of ridgid's, which is very similar, but also doesn't come with ridgid's LSA. Makita makes one thats 199 dollars. Kobalt makes the only comparable router and currently comes with a free battery/charger for 119. Metabo HPT also makes a decent compact for 149 on their multivolt platform

Why does everyone still say the HP tabs the HP tabs. You yourself took apart the HP Impact and clear as day you can see the contacts in the tool, no wires going anywhere. They tabs dont even have continuity. Im not hateing, I love all my Ryob(Eh)! But the battery doesnt say anything to the tool. Half the HP lineup doesnt have them in the tool anyway. Yes the tabs on the battery, and maybe it has to do with charging, or they were going to add an axtra winding in the motor that those contacts powered and then decided they couldnt, i dont know. But the only way the regular HP batteries are better is a better processing board and a better BMS System. The regular 2Ah, 2Ah HP, 4Ah HP all have Eve cells and they have a higher current discharge and that may allow them to get more power from the pack via better BMS..... but those contacts....... if anyone finds an HP tool where they go somewhere pleas share.

Im sick of people testing ryobi products and not even fucking securing the wood down so it can have a fair shot.
