The problem with this polarized RPG system is that half the players will want to be heroes, half will want to be monsters, and one group will have to ‘win’
I like tool boxes for their freedom and if there is not a current system to run the type of game you want. Knowing you note pad if there is not a system for it you would just make one but is there any tool box that you would recommend? Also i hear you mention PBTA alot is that a good one since alot of games use it?
PbtA isn't a toolbox its enhanced CBT for the soul. I have two Generic Cases if you're curious, but overall it kind of depends on what you're aiming for. Meme answer is, as always, GURPS as it does do everything.
I don't hate meta-currencies, but when they exist for the sole purpose of propping up an otherwise mechanically enemic game they leave nothing but a bad taste in my mouth. And all of the Osprey RPGs reinforce my already existant opinion that even the best generic in the world still pales in comparison to a hand-tailored game for the genre being run... which feels super-weird that I beleive that even though my own homebrew is a "classless D&D toolbox"... >,>a
Finally! I'm so happy your doing this
ah yes, "Dubs: Check'em" the game

Could you make a video on Mage the Ascension or the world of darkness games as a whole?
The Curious World of Darkness is on the slate, but I've been debating on how to approach it more than anything.
Have you looked at the rpg elemental? I'm been considering getting it. I really like the idea of generic games.
Hmm, can't say I have heard of that one. I'll see if I can't find it.
