I have a small framed deep cycle battery I use. I have since added led lights so I use the one battery to power everything. I have used a small lawn mower battery in the past.
Is your motor built? Any idea what prop your running? I have the same hull and motor and I'm lucky if I can hit 25mph going down river with just myself and an empty hull.
I’m running the standard prop. That sounds about right in a deep river. I try to stick to airboat trails when possible. I have since added a slick bottom coating and always keep some pvc pipes in the boat incase I get to shallow.
Cool video, I love my Copperhead
That’s where the power trim comes in handy
If your G3 1548 can survive that abuse, mine should last forever with the way I baby it. LOL
Is this the gator tuff 15 FL model? Nice boat
It’s a standard 1548 welded G3, not sure what the difference is in the gator tuff model.

What size battery do you use to start your copperhead??. I recently bought the same motor.

Get you some gator glide
I finally did this past season! The difference is remarkable especially in vegetation like what I got hung up on in this video.
Very similar, except in shallow water I've seen speeds up to 27mph.
Sounds like a great setup! They know what they're doing over there!

A Wheeler you use the as a push pole? How does the pvc help.
what model boat is this?
It is a welded 1548 modified v, G3
what speeds do you see?
25mpg with 2 people, a dozen decoys, and guns in shallower water. In deep water you lose a few mph.
I don't understand why y'all don't just get airbosts
Mud boats are easier to both hunt from and camouflage as well.
Airboat curfews plus airboats are only good for riding around and drinking booze. They suck for fishing and hunting
They cost $80,000?
Can't carry a hunting load
