For t4 i would highly suggest trying stormborne, it gives the best skirmisher in the game and access to good methods of applying the wet debuff (-4 cold and lightning res, +2 fire res) while also increasing your economy. Definitely don't think the major transformation from this tome is better than the other options though. 5/6 relevant choices from the tome though make it very appealing.
This is a really excellent build, I would suggest a dragon ruler so that you can get the gold from your item hoard as well as the mana from artifact hoarders. Seems like a good synergy
Oh, nice idea! I think this might be even the most synergistic pick into this specific build, glad that you mention it. But I was myself quite shocked (pun intended) how well the self sustain of Dark combined with Mana Addicts and constant Lightning nukes works together. I expected way more issues but found the enemy mostly dead before being able to hurt me beyond a point of no return sustain-wise. Quite amazing, but I'm pretty sure that high damage + Decay might really fuck this build over due to it's low resilience.
@Ic0nGaming dark + mana addicts is nigh unkillable no matter the build, from my experience. This plus lightning damage synergies is very OP and probably deserves a nerf of some kind honestly
With mage heroes, it absolutely stomps everything--I actually love that combo. Your hero can 1-shot an eldritch sovereign from full HP with a channeled lightning evocation when wet.
Can you please do a Cult of Personality & Vigilante Knights build? It's so fun, turns the game into an ARPG. Just a group of heroes adventuring around, no other armies. Pick oath of harmony and use allies/vassals to get things done.
@Ic0nGaming awesome thanks. I think the synergy with oathsworn harmony is great. Since your only army is a hero ball, you need vassals to do some work for you. Your Vigilante Knights really want to collect bounties, and collecting those bounties boosts your devotion and your relations with free cities.
@@Ic0nGaming also I picked fast recuperation and blessed dragon mounts, so I can fight way more often. Combine that with army heal, and you can take out an infestation every round (I play with regenerating infestations)
Is there a particular reason why one should avoid backtracking when it comes to tomes? Specifically in a situation like this where you are really focussed on one element? After picking up Astral Convergence would it not make sense to backtrack and grab one of the lower tier tomes for one of the other elements instead of grabbing the mirror?
No, none at all. If anything I should've mentioned it as a good possible choice at this point of the build. The game even favors backtracking much more than it originally did. There's literally no downsides, except for not getting as busted as T4 contents outta the book.
@@Ic0nGaming Thank you! I really enjoy your builds. Have you considered adding short gameplay parts? Like maybe fighting and army composition in the early, mid, and late game? I think that'd be fun to watch.
Applying miasma again...I like it. Since I see society trait Artifact Hoarders in the build: Have you already tried combining Artifact Hoarders with Dragon Ruler AND casting infestations? I mean Incite Revolution from Tome Of Mayhem or Umbral Incursion from Tome Of Corruption (I only played the first one)? The mechanic is broken, you can create a insane hoard output in gold and mana. If you have Chaos/Order affinity, you can also exploit Call Of Chaos/Pacification heavy. Edit: Fabled Hunters would be a good synergy.
Ah well, the Miasma is just so good on the Darks. And the Alchemy Tome is generally quite a busted one I feel like. I never went powergaming on the whole Infestation-Milking Strat as it seems borderline exploity. I probably should do a build around this one day soon though before Triumph goes and nerfs this. Because it deserves a nerf imho, as this is really just dumb. But hey, it's also fun to be dumb powerful right? :D But usually I try to optimize my builds as little as possible around these "too good to be true" conditions. I already feel like borderline exploiting with those Ritualist Heroes. I bet they won't stay like this, they still seem way too strong in the early phase of the game to me personally.
@@Ic0nGaming True, Tome Of Alchemy can be very strong. But your Mystic Massive Debuff build exploited it pretty heavily, I loved it. Of course, infestation milking is an exploit for me too, but it's still fun. Exploits are always fun, at least once, I don't want to use it repeatedly (that would be boring). The whole rework of the hero system since the Tiger Update is begging for a patch, it has a lot of balancing problems. I agree with you, ritualists are too powerful, especially for the early game.

Hot damn, how could I miss that one out, you're right.
Also, your thumbnails are super awesome.
They are all made by Midjourney with my prompts. Every video also has a link to the picture, free to use if you like them.
Danke!
Vielen lieben Dank gleich zurück =)

What about combining Lighting and a frost build by aiming for applying wet whenever possible?

Will definitely try to get it done, no promises though! Any wishes culture wise?

Can you make a full Calvary build with support, ranged/battlemage, and melee and zoom around the map? I think it’d have to be oathsworn?
I'll see what I can do =)

@@Ic0nGaming actually it might have to be primal. I forgot which culture gains mounted support.
