Paul uttered maybe 4 or 5 words to this majestic elephant, but his actions spoke much louder. The beauty of the music started a bond between them and then, by the simple act of chopping some foliage for the elephant, another need was met - and the elephant knew it. Walking off together at the end was so simple but beautiful. A trust was formed out of sheer kindness. Is it any wonder why people get so much joy from a beloved pet as opposed to this very unkind world? I never get tired of seeing videos like these. Paul, you are a treasure!
I am dazzled by the patience and attentiveness of the elephant. As a professional musician, this creature is much more calm than some of our audience members.
"As a professional musician, this creature is much more calm than some of our audience members." I didn't know that this elephant was a professional musician. I mean, some of them are good amateur trumpetists, but not professionals. Maybe that's why he is so attentive.
This is the way it was supposed to be in the beginning of time. It's good to see a human and a animal get along so well. And if you noticed when he played the calm tune. It soothed the elephant. Beautiful
Fun fact: Elephants have neurons in their brain that light up the same way the same or equivalent neurons in our brain light up when we see a dog. In other words, elephants think of us as cute, and they truly are such majestic creatures indeed.
They are but be careful with a Wild animal if especially male elephants are in mating season they can very aggressive but that old one is to old for that lady Business and seems to be very happy around humans, a very nice elephant 😊 hopefully if will have many years left elephants can become very old if they are lucky 😊
This is precious beyond belief. I imagine that this elephant has had a hard life and was traumatised in some way (correct me if I am wrong) - and now his consolation and peace comes from this kind and loving human who plays music for the elephant’s (and our) soul.
What a beauty.......it´s all connected...we ....creatures on this planet..humans, animals, nature..everything is connected...you can feel and see just here!! THANK YOU Mr. Barton!!

I love the immense sense of calm the elephant has, matched by Paul's calm. Resting his trunk on the mound in complete relaxation and appreciation of this beautiful music. And then eating quietly with Paul, his friend, at this side. This is beautiful.

I’m extremely jealous of the fact you can play piano and also commune with my favourite animal. I teared up when I first heard this Beethoven piece many years ago and do so now at this humbling scene.
2023 Now...Mongkol looking as magnificent as the last I saw him, he has such a gentle heart for a big bull elephant full of love & trust for you. Adore the way Mongkol rests his trunk on the embankment while you play a Beethoven's piece of beautiful music which Mongkol definitely enjoyed. I'm quite sure he would never walk away while you are playing the piano that he loves so much with the air filled with a beautiful sound. Wow getting the piano to where you will both meet up is quite the exercise in more ways than one but totally understand Mongkol is most worthy of it. Thanks for sharing your lovely video. ❤️🐘❤️🐘❤️
Paul, so beautiful and loving..Tears to my eyes of happiness watching you play music for the Bull elephant, who knows your kindness. I love all of your videos. You & family ! Beautiful soul you are,
A lot of work goes into these elephant concerts, but it’s all worth it because they enjoy the music so much! Thanks Paul. Your audience enjoys watching too!❤️
It's so good to see another video of you playing for the elephants. These musical moments are what brought me to your channel many months ago. Now, I watch to see Emilie, as well. Thank you for letting us into your world with the elephants, the monkeys, and your elderly Sunday. Many smiles to you from Oklahoma, USA.
The most tender, heartwarming video was Daddy Paul playing piano and most precious baby was Emelie inside a little cradle with orange blanket? Deosn't matter as I'm sure was soft and cuddly as you played for her as she grew up listening to her daddy play a new song each year. What a blessed gift and NOW a double gift as she's playing along with her daddy. Emilee, YOU are beyond blessed with unconditional love and talent gifted to you,,,,is something millions of dollars couldn't buy such a precious gift....and now you're growing up far too fast... Where oh where has that time Gone? I'm sure that you Cherish those precious memories you've made over the time spent practicing....and learning scales...oyeee, those dreaded but necessary scales
Thank you Paul, for sharing your world with me! And allowing me to peek inside to a place of wonder so far away! The elephant becomes more a more beautiful to me because of your videos! Also, at 55, almost 56, I have started piano lessons! Many blessings to you and your family, in Jesus Name 🌺🌺🌺🌺💜

I grew up playing the piano. My two favorite songs to play were “ Dance of The Rosebuds” and “25 or 6 to 4”. Two songs that couldn’t be further apart. I loved all things “Nutcracker” as I was also a young ballerina. I think they would enjoy “Dance of The Rosebuds” more than the later. That was many years ago. However, I can not help myself if I pass a piano, I have to sit and play. But would love to have played for elephants. It would be a dream come true. Lucky elephants and lucky man. Thank you for the back scenes. This made it even more special for me to watch this particular video. Thank you Paul. You are a beautiful human. ❤🌹
