The number of times I listened to this parade soundtrack since it premiered… I have GOT to get back out to California to see it in person, I’m OBSESSED!
I was there 18th March, first time visiting any Disney park & first time in LA (I’m from the U.K.) I SOBBED the whole way through it was incredible! Recommend to anyone if they’re able to make it !
I love this parade. Watched hundreds of times on various videos especially during the lock down. Magic Happens is my happy place. Delighted to see the parade return but noticed number of dancers have been pared down. And totally missed the Tiana float. Looking forward to seeing the parade in person. Thank you for the inaugural performance.
Ive always felt this parade had less performers than it should. The intro group who start the parade, there should be more of them spaced through the parade, and at the end to close it out. And especially parts like the flag wavers, 2 of them seem pretty bare, then the four seem awkward as well. Just take the two and put them with the other four. And the parade does need about 2 more floats, and I do remember Tianna being in this parade so what happened to her? I love the music to this parade, but Soundsational parade is still my favorite with the drummers and all the floats. The finale to that parade with the large MP float was just awesome. Sadly, by summer they will cut back on more of the dancers and performers to save on budget. Happens every time.
My daughter fell in love with this parade and Moana back when she was 2 yo in 2019. We’ve been watching this parade ever since! I’m so happy this came back and I get to take her to see it in real life!! She’s so excited!!
I was lucky to be a cm when this was in production and eventually launched for the two weeks it was out. What was awesome was watching them practice this behind the scenes as well as getting to see it before the public (especially at night where the floats were lit up beautifully).
It looks like the return of this parade is the entire cast and floats unlike Festival of Fantasy Parade, Festival of the Lion King and Beauty and the Beast on stage at wdw which still haven't returned to their full cast, floats and shows. As always Disneyland is rocking it 💜💙💚
Them taking the zip a Dee Doo da lyric out just makes me feel like it will take a while to ever bring paint the night back cause that is one of the main songs in the finale unit.

But I want to know-Why does Disneyland get the Wishes and Remember the Magic sound bites and we can’t even get a nighttime parade???? We needed it for the 50th and we still need it. Main Street needs a night parade!
A Girl I went to school with is in this parade as one of the girls with blue hair in the beginning with the Moana float. I'll have to go see her in this parade at some point. The floats look really pretty, wish it was a little longer though, and there was more going on

I think It’s missing one more full fledged float dedicated to a film. That’s my only complaint. I see the “if you just believe” segment as one big finale.

OMG, it’s back!!!!! I don’t know if I’m the only one, but i NEED…REALLY NEED this parade in ORLANDO!!! Just imagine: Happily Ever After, Magic Happens, and NO MORE Bob “paycheck”!!! We only need the parade to firmly say “all dreams come true” 😂
@@ItzAdrian02 there was a Zippidy doo dah line in this parade that now is replaced with “think of the happiest things,” But yes, Paint the Night Finale has a whole finale sequence with Zippidy Doo Dah and not sure any other song would be able to capture the hype of that epic finale.
Thanks for the recording! I think the content of this parade is on point, but I find the floats are nothing that special. Yes, they do the job, and they do look better at night, but they fall a bit flat for me. Performers are great, 10 out of 10, but I'm not a fan of the soundtrack. While lyrically, it provides a great message, musically I find it sluggish for a parade. As a writer/composer, I find it odd that the "Magic Happens" chorus is written in minor chords (which in laymen's terms are sad chords-major chords are happy chords). My last "nit pick" is something I find in most Disneyland parades, and that's the huge amount of "dead space" between parade units. The soundtrack sometimes completely disappears as there's nothing in front of you. Christmas Fantasy, Soundsational, and even the Pixar Play Parade all have the same issues. Can't figure that one out, as I've never seen a parade at WDW with those issues. In conclusion, even with all those negatives from me, it's STILL great to see a parade back at DL, and even better that it appears the parade is filled with recognizable faces from 2020. The vast majority of guests seem to love it, and that's what counts. Just wanted to share why it doesn't quite do it for me.
Honestly curious (no hate, I swear): How are you able to record these parades and not get hit with copyright warnings from TH-cam when you share them with us? Is it because you are considered media and the rest of us are just wishing? 😌

@@foxythepirat2003while I do think removing Zip everywhere is an overreaction on Disney’s part. Think of the happiest things is from Peter Pan which fits with the character being in this segment of the parade.
PTN and Soundsational will forever be the best Disneyland parades, nothing comes closer. You can just tell Disney no longer puts any effort in the parades, the dancers and performers just seem lackluster, and the parade floats are not as amazing as they used to be. It's really sad 😔

Magic Kingdom’s Festival of Fantasy used Zip A Dee Doo Dah in the finale and it was replaced with just music when the parade returned.

There was originally a beautiful Tiana and Naveen float that looks like their wedding scene. I dont know what happened to it

It’s only temporarily out for maintenance I’m guessing.
Yes it should be back after repairs. It was in the castmember review but had some noticeable issues with it.

Have you ever thought that the parades are for kids! But, those floats look way better that soundsational.
I disagree Disney did a great job with this parade. There was effort put into it. The dancing and the music was top notch
