With the current tariff put on Chinese motors are people worried about getting spare parts and service for those? In my mind I would feel more comfortable with something like a Bosch or Shimano motor just because I feel like I could get parts and batteries and software updates. Great post!

I understand the logic and wisdom in that. I opted for a Tosevin DM02 500 watt torque sensing motor
It seems to be a good fit for the Enviolo City hub on my Rogue. Time will tell on if I made a good choice

Great advice on all points. Unfortunately many areas do not have a big retail outlet that inventories all types of trikes to try out. I feel,it it’s important to try out any trike before buying.

I live in the Cleveland, Ohio area and there are no trike stores. That is a bummer.

I am 6'5" and 310 lbs. I ride mainly on roads but I also ride on dirt paths. I like to ride between 30 and 50 miles I am 73 years old and would prefer an electric motor. I was thinking that it would be nice to have a suspension to save my old bones from hurting. From looking at many specs it seems that the Greenspeed MagnumXL would be best for my size but it has no suspension and Greenspeed doesn't list many options, including an electric motor, and a variety of different transmissions. What would your advice be?

What about apartment dwellers like myself I live in government house built in 1968 with very thin door ways in the apartments Folks van fit their narrow wheelchair. My Terratrike tour 2 ua wider. So do they make thinner wheel based trikes

I'm thinking about a trike, but I don't want to spend a lot of money, so would you recommend a KMX trike as I have heard that they're a budget friendly option so would you recommend a KMX trike

The KMX is low to the ground. Check out the Terratrike Maverick for a budget friendly trike.
