This is a cool contest and it is really great to hear all of these stories. I listened to tons of my sister's music too. I had no idea that Andy Rourke and Mike Joyce toured with Sinead. Great video!
Thanks Brian! You had some sweet stories as well. Yeah, that was a bonus for my friend Trish and I that night...36 years ago! Yikes, can that even be right?!
Very cool rock n roll set.Two of my favorite tracks of off one of my all-time favorite albums. Sinead must have been amazing. That is one artist that I would have loved to have seen live. I was late to the Joe Jackson party. I received a few of his albums from a VC member. (If you haven't already, sub Steve Carlson's channel). I adore that album. It's great back to front. Take care, Ed
Thanks Mark! I will check out Steve Carlson's channel. 'It's Different For Girls' always gets me when I've seen him perform it live many times. Appreciate the view and comments. Have a great rest if the weekend 😎🎶
Hey Ed! Thanks for jumping on this and sharing these stories. You’re an absolute natural on camera and storytelling. Looking forward to digging into more of your videos. Cheers my friend!
Thanks for the kind words Alex! Been enjoying your channel as well. All about sharing stories and how music speaks to each of us. Great contest idea! 😎🎶🎸
Cool entry. My parents were fans of Sinatra and Ella and big bands. Sinead should have done what the Circle Jerks did when I saw them - just play the same songs twice. Good luck in the contest!
Thanks Randall! As one does, I came full circle with appreciating my Dad's taste in music as I got older. Timeless stuff. I do recall that Sinead was pretty overwhelmed by the packed house, and I got a few free drinks after the house lights went up! 😎🎶
Excellent video, Ed. And all great records. That Sinead story is amazing! Good luck!
Thanks Mark! Appreciate the reply back 😎🎸🎶
