hi! jeez long time no see, atleast it feels like it! i wasn't happy to not be posting as frequently but i'm back home, and ready for spring! today we talk about walking, the past month, and um more walking lol! my weight loss is going, but hopefully we can pick that back up!!
starting weight: ˜220 lbs.
my recent lowest weight: 184.2 lbs.

yes i feel like i’m getting a little confused when referring to walking/hiking like where do i draw the line 😂 i guess hiking in my mind is more climbing! i’m so glad the video was comforting! i appreciate this 🫶🏼

Awesome to an update video from you. I agree, long term challenges can be tough, I'm also doing a ton of walking myself! it's really a nice supplement to my weight lifting! Keep it up!

Hey bestie I’m a lurker but love your videos. One of your past running videos gave me the inspiration to start running and after watching you and another influencer I’ve gained the confidence to run and have ran for 7 days straight which is not big at all but I’m very out of shape and couldn’t do that in highschool especially when I try to push myself to at least 30 minutes even tho I run slow as heck haha
hey!!! that’s so awesome! 🤩 and that is a huge deal! you should be really proud of yourself 🫶🏼 and the best thing about running is it only gets easier if you are consistent!

I never really liked the online challenges either, they're never really geared towards my specific needs and wants, so you end up just doing it for someone else or having a streak. For me its all about small habits that i can implement in my life so it doesnt become a hassle or a thing that i HAVE to do, but more a thing that just slips into my life. And otherwise i write down all my reasons why, so it keeps giving me motivation! I also never followed a running schedule made by someone else. I like making my own schedules geared towards what i need, and to complement my progress. And its fun puzzleing the schedule for myself :D I dont need to do 5km runs if i dont want to, not do i need to run them in one go. Why cant i just do 5min running bits and then walk inbetween and have a lovely walk/run thats 7km long, where i only run 4km in total? I love it, it makes me happy :D
emma you’re so right! i feel like this is why i try to limit how much information i take in from other content creators, because i really want it to be a journey for myself, not just doing what works for someone else. this really spoke to me!!
Just came across your channel and the first 20 seconds inspired me to get back into walking! What app do you use to track your walks? Is it just the Apple health app with an Apple Watch or something else?

I am the absolute same with the online challenges. Long term and things I HAVE to do turn me off and make me not do them!
