It could also be great if you want to flare the pinky. The thumb comes pretty much flared a little bit. The pinkies always stuck to the ring finger, which makes it very hard to flare. That’s why a lot of people bend the top and increase it. You’re supposed to be the pinky down where it meets the knuckle by the laces on the hill. And then it straight back flat. But that’s hard to do because it also bends the ring finger as well and then the pocket of the ringfinger pokes in

Im deciding between this rawlings and a wilson a2000 d33. I dont like hand sting, which has the better palm protection?

Honestly I’d go with the D33. They’re both equal with hand sting but man the D33 is such an underrated pattern. Nice and deep pocket and they break in so well.
