I would have been severely disappointed if you didn't at least try the one handed cycling method. That was cool. +1 like for doing it terminator style.
Also: considering that this is one of he few nerf guns that you can actually use with only one hand (until you need to reload), I would say it has a slight advantage over pump action, with practice. That's something you simply can't do with any other type of nerf gun unmodified.

Not sure if it's just me, but that's not how the terminator did it, he spun it by moving his hand forward with the lever and let the gun spin back into his hand, thereby chambering the next shell.
EHW2 you can even dual wield sling fires

It's meh to me I mean it's fun and all but not my style so I don't really use it as a primary as much anymore
I've passed on this gun a few times in the store mainly because it doesn't have the dart ranges on the box. However upon seeing this video I had to have it strictly for the lever action and it didn't disappoint : ) There's so many positives to this blaster, the short range of the blaster doesn't effect how I feel about it. Its my new favorite blaster. And I prefer playing with it unloaded so I can cauk and flip it without chasing the darts all over the house : )

The Slingfire is one of my favorites, I invited some of my mates over the other day, and just destroyed them with the thing. They were struggling to get a bullet out of the barrel, but an experienced player can really do some damage. It also looks freakin' awesome

I think this is the first review of this blaster I've seen that is positive. Also, the only review that looks like it performs at average elite ranges (going by the chrono readings).
Yeah, I don't know if everyone else got lemons or my functional Slingfire was the lemon - haha. I can only review what I have though.

And the model 1887 is the only real lever action shotgun i know of the other lever actions are rifles not shtoguns
My biggest problem with the blaster is the distance between the sights and the barrel of the blaster. Sure the LongShot has it worse; but the SlingFire still gets tedious to place shots with.

My opinion? The Zombiestrike line isn't meant to be employed in conventional Nerf Wars where both sides put out a huge volume of darts. They're well-suited to role-play in a zombie apocalypse scenario, where ammo is traditionally scarce, accuracy counts, and making excessive noise is going to get you nommed, while the Elite line is more pseudo-militaristic with accessories, large clip capacities, and automatic/semi-automatic fire that favors fast, spray and pray tactics.
There's nothing wrong with comparing the performance of Zombiestrike blasters to Elite blasters, but I think keeping their respective themes in mind is important

This is my all time favorite blaster I love this thing, and the spring last a while I've had mine for 3 years and I haven't notice a decrease range.

Out of the box, it chewed through all 6 bullets and jammed to the point of internals locking up frequently. Had a friend open it up and take a look at it, and now it works... alright, I guess.
EDIT: I've had it for about 3 years, I haven't had an issue with it since.

Just got this gun and it is amazing. the range and accuracy are really good. It seems like a lot of people are getting lemons though. Mine hasn't had a jam yet. Totally recommend it.
I got 4 crummy darts jammed in the blaster. My dad had to forcibly rip them out of the blaster. My sling fire is now mechanically screwed.

My dad uses the Slingfire and the Double Strike both at the same time. He does what you dd, which is using the weight of the Slingfire to ready it, and using the Hammer of the Double Strike one handed. It's terrifying.

if you grab the back grooved part of the priming handle it makes it more comfortable to use

You can friction fit a barrel from a gun or hand guard such as a retaliator barrel, long shot barrel, long shot front gun barrel, etcetera.

Depends on a lot of different things. Like the Retaliator got 12 nerf darts, but Slingfire only got 6. I would choose reataliator because it has "elite" performance. But it is your choice.

I had a similar problem w/ the hammershot, I could sort it easily get it to about 1.5mm from the point where it locks,
I loved my Slingfire, but one day while i was sleeping, my little brother took it out of my room and took it apart. When I asked him where it was the next morning, he said he didnt know. I went into the kitchen, saw it all taken apart, and i flipped out. i grabbed my Apollo, went to my room and shot him straight in the teeth. Needless to say hes missing about 5 teeth.....................

remove locks for mag so you can gravity drop and put mag holders on pants,etc in a way so you can push the gun against them to insert them

I got one, and all I can say is don't use whistler darts in this, they work but only use 1 shot, if you add more it jams

I finally got to handle one of these, problem is swinging the lever all the way forward doesn't quite make the bolt ratchet all the way, you still gotta open the jam door and push it further by hand

I bought this blaster yesterday,I pulled the lever up,released the mag but the lever didn't come down,I had to press the lever release button while pulling the lever,it works perfectly now

It's true. Running around with this thing is a bit impractical. That's why I prefer hanging back and using a bit of a sniper strategy with it.
If you use older mags it will jam a ton and the lever action priming makes unjamming a nightmare
with the mag release the one behind the magazine is for flywheel blasters because with flywheels you don't have to mouth the dart and flywheel guns have more locks so it would be more difficult to use the type For springers
U should do a vid of u doing tricks with this and the Tek Sentinel.

If they made a Mega version of this, it would be more similar to the Terminator's shotgun in Terminator 2. Right now it's really the Rifleman's rifle.

Did you ever have issues with your slingfire just not working? I got one just cuz it looked cool, but it the lever just stopped loading the blaster.

Have you had any problems with the jam door, my jam door has a catch/tab at the front although it doesn't actually reach the insert to where its supposed to lock in.
I love this Blaster and it's the best Blaster ever
if you want to told more ammo I suggest you get the 10rd banana mag the 18rd drum mag or the 25rd drum mag

Where did you get this? I went into toys r us the other day to get it and they didn't have it. They even said their warehouse had not gotten any. So I went on their website to just order it because the day before it was on there to order. No their site says you can order it. And due to the terrible way their website is set up it doesn't tell you any stores in your area that have in stock.
I love nerf and I also love to draw and when I was watching this video one hand position you had when holding the sling fire immediately caught my eye and made me want to go draw your hand position as practice. How weird that a nerf video made me want to draw
