    I lost my dog last Sunday, i feel so guilty because i failed him at his last moment. I didn't take good care of him, and i am so sorry. Please take good care of your dogs, they are the most loyal, innocent companions you'll ever have.

      Robert Kraft I didn't take him to the animal hospital. I was waiting for a local vet to open at 10 AM sunday, but my dog got worst before that and he died from a heart attack probably because I stressed him out but putting him in the bath tub. He was urinating and stuff uncontrollably so I thought I'd clean him up. He died right front of me.
      I should have taken him to the vet ages ago when his first sign of breathing problem emerged. Or I should have call 911 and ask for a 24 hour pet hospital. All my fault and I'm having a very hard time dealing with all this. I still can't believe he's gone. He was my only companion. Now I'm alone in this world.

    One of the toughest things for me when my dog was dying was how tough he was trying to be, even though he was clearly weak and dying. Yet when he saw me, when I came to visit and take him to the vet, I feel like he still had his proud pack mentality, and he wanted to show how strong he could be even though he was inches from deaths door. That's what made it so hard for me. He couldn't walk, he hadn't eaten for days, he couldn't even move, yet when he saw me, and others he was close to, he mustered strength and tried to move, I dunno if it was pride... but that's what I perceived it as. Since then, I've tried to live by his example, to be strong even at his weakest. Even if he was just a dog and probably didn't think much of it. It really moved me. I'm glad he died with a little ounce of strength left, painlessly.

    We had to put down our dog last year, just a month shy of her 18th birthday. I wish they would go quietly in their sleep like most humans do, but they tend to fight on and refuse to give up. You usually have to end up putting them down out of compassion because they suffer so much and never give up fighting.

    I lost my whippet about a month ago. He had a painful limp in his front leg for a long while. Medication wasn't helping him and he was suffering, he could barely walk. On his last day, I skipped work and took him with his daughter around the park and then sat in the car with him with the windows open. It was a gorgeous day, all the birds chirping and the cool breeze drifting through the windows. I gave him a lot of my chicken sandwich.
    I'll never forget that day. RIP Billy, my sweet old boy. June 1, 2005 - February 1, 2018.

    A few months ago I lost my first dog. We had her since I was 3, she's was my best friend. We spoiled her so she was a big girl.. she hated walking but love playing in the snow. She would bite you if you pet her ears but anywhere else was fine. For the week before she passed I felt numb, I wasn't able to think properly losing a dog fucking sucks, she got super sick.. (kidney stones) and she would have to get her teeth taken out and shed have to go through it all the time. The best solution was to put her down. I miss her more than anything in the world. I'm glad we got to spoil her in her last few days. R.I.P Chai and Walnut ❤❤

    • @ranzamaceanruig
      @ranzamaceanruig 7 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      I had to learn the hard way that sometimes they can't die peacefully. I recently had to put my dog down that was suffering so badly from heart failure that she could hardly breathe. If I had not put her down she would have suffocated to death, slowly and painfully. It was a heart-wrenching decision to have her put down, believe me. So as her owner, and knowing that she had only days to live, I could let her die in pain and terror or peacefully. I chose peacefully for HER.

      Avikaar Sewlall The reason people care more for dogs than they do humans it's because humans wag their tongues, dogs wag their tails. A human will betray you and talk shit behind your back, a dog will not trust you from the beginning. I shamelessly love my dog more than my mother, and she knows it.

    People on this thread saying this K9 should have been allowed to die of old age instead of being put own are clearly heartless. Our family Pit Bull " Sheba " had to finally be put to rest in the mid 1980's due to Hip Dysplasia when there weren't a lot of options in terms of treatment. Once she got to the first severe stage, we could grab her legs from her hindquarters ( much like a wheelbarrow ) and walk her outside so she could potty. Then it got to where we had to bodily pick her up and carry her outside and she was a HEAVY !!! girl. Then it got to where she would start to cry whenever we tried to pick her up because her pain was so great. Even when my family and I would lie on the floor with her prior to us having her put down, we could see the pain in her eyes. It was so sad. And for anybody that might choose to brow beat Pit Bulls ... This was a dog that when she was healthy would allow toddlers to roll all over her as she was lying down, let them ride on her back like she was a horse, and we could have her sit in a room across from us, call to her, and she would come running and leap into our arms knowing we would catch her. After we would catch her she would bark out of happiness. She was such a good, good dog and I truly do miss her to this day.

      They didn't murder the dog. you don't know anything about the situation. he was 18 years old! thats crazy and looked like he couldn't even stand. if you let nature intend it then the dog would have been dead years ago. and dogs are not even natural animals anyway.

    • @gearfire123
      @gearfire123 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Euthanasia is often a more peaceful way for dogs to go than "the way nature intended." For instance, if the dog was at risk of heart failure, I can guarantee you that getting put to sleep is a better way to die than a heart attack. When you leave it up to nature, you open your dog up to the very real and tragic possibility that their last moments will be filled with stress, fear, pain, and confusion. Putting them to sleep is better for the dog's peace of mind and the owner's conscience.

    I'm so sorry for your loss and I didn't know Walnut but she looks like a really really sweet Whip It and heard they were affectionate I like to run a lot but they're very affectionate it's always so sad when I see video site list but the one thing I see is that Walnut had a wonderful home with people that loved him

    If only people treat human lives in Yemen as such.

    • @SilentMover95

      Joshua Moher as if you have any democracy. Dont tell me you are from the USA.

    • @SilentMover95
      @SilentMover95 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Joshua Moher Oh, so you are from the USA. I am not taking it personally but America basically is screwing Yemen. The media never reports on the actual happenings in the USA. Also, you shouldn't be talking about democracy being an American.

    • @SilentMover95
      @SilentMover95 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Joshua Moher No shit, even the people of Yemen would choose America over Yemen right now. America supplied weapons to S.Arabia to mass murder civilians in Yemen and turned a blind eye on them every time they start bombing Yemen. They even bombed the hospital of Doctors Without Borders and a school for blind for fuck sake. You should look more closely then. Just remember the bombs raining down on human lives in Yemen are marked with "Made in the USA". Looks like you are still as ignorant as your own countrymen. Maybe thats how you guys got an orange faced Oompa Loompa as a president.

    • @SilentMover95
      @SilentMover95 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Joshua Moher I never said I am from Yemen. LOL As usual, Americans shifting the blame on others again. How unsurprising.
