I'm learning so much from you! You do things beyond what I even imagine, and best part, you do it on a mini-lathe. It's like learning from an expert, but specifically for my limited lathe, or as you have demonstrated, fully capable lathe.
Nice design and upgrade, love it. If anyone from a factory in China is watching, I won't be surprised to see this design in small lathes in the future 🤣

Nice use of what appear to be diesel fuel injector pins as transfer punches. I have a number of them around the workshop, you need to anneal the striking end to prevent them sending out splinters.

Sorry but i try in German. Dennoch viel Erfolg . Greetings from Berlin/ Germany

It looks like a lot of time and too many holes in a line making the casting weak these are cheap lathes i have had one for over ten years the motor stopped working and the control box burned out it has a 3/4 hp motor on it now i also have a myford that i do nothing to it it cuts better looks better needs no time only a bit of cleaning and will still be turning when i am not the mini lathe is good at getting people into turning
I guess if ml7 are plentiful and cheap where you're at🤷♂️ where I'm at, there have been two in the past 7 years show up on the market within a reasonable distance and both were asking over 6k usd for a well used machine with minimal tooling included. Yes these little lathes take time to get set up but so does a clapped out old ml7. With a mini, I can get the results I need for a tenth of the price. For the money, you cannot beat the mini lathe.

Won't see it from mainland China. It costs money.

Off the scales genius design and workmanship.
Very nice modification. I wish I was talented enough to do that because it’s really needed. 👍🏻

Thank you for sharing, excellent work, design, video and execution. I will intent to duplicate your work, we shall see LoL. All the best from Uruguay.

Very nice, would this be strong enough for a bigger lathe?
I think yes
I have my doubts

Bellissimo lavoro, sarò costretto a copiarlo, vedo che funziona molto bene! Un saluto da Roma e complimenti! 👋👌
With all of your resourcefulness with that tiny lathe, why haven't you made a mini mill?

Vevor selling junk. It seems they put the lathes together from defective cheapest parts including the most important - lathe bed.
Nice stuff as usual, thanks for sharing
Cheers
Good and neat work.
As always, Beautiful.
This is REALLY amazing!

Melhor do que isso só dois ✌ disso valeu muito obrigado!❤
Hi.I did it 50 years before and other mechanics said that it will never be worked 😊😊😊😊😊😊
what material do you used?
Sehr gut Arbeit 👍👍👍
Did your lathe come polished or is that something that you did? Mine showed up looking like a piece of crap from the scrap metal pile
The lathe came to me in this condition
Nicely made but overcomplicated for what it does.
incredible again.
