Clutch Daigo is the best Daigo. I mean he always seems to slack off in the first round to measure and study the opponent and then he goes crazy SSJ 3 Daigo when in clutch situations.

Out of all the really good players online i think Kenpi is the best one he doesn't go for the cheap gimmicks just plays solid he shows massive potential. I respect it, almost as clean as Momochi
I agree. I'm not trying to hate on Chris T but he's basically a cookie cutter Momochi (he even spent time at his house learning HIS Ken) so I only truly appreciate Momochi's Ken and Kenpi who has stuck with Ken. Hopefully he sticks with Ken regardless of this rough balance patch for us Ken players.
Because it's a bad game. That doesn't reward time an skill like the other fighters. Take a look @ all of the serious fighters then come back to sfv if you can't see the issue then you don't want to. In this video they spent a full round just doing hadokens. Come on man how is this good.🤔🤔
@@fightme4793 Tekken 7, Guilty Gear, maybe Soul Calibur 6 I haven't bought it yet but it looks good. Honorable mention blazeblu, and injustice. I'm mainly an Tekken 7 player tho. Hmm and to answer your questions I'm not sure, I like having options and mix up potential, I like CH punish to really be punishing and real good defensive options like parries and counters as a universal to balance that. There's alot to a fighter hard to pin down but what I can say I spent alot of time on sfv and it lacks many things I want. Oh and I hate the v-trigger system they should scrap it and make it just two types of playstyle on a character baseline.
I just watched a few old episodes of Excellent Adventures. The "hype" that SF4 instilled was astounding. Now I'm watching this. This.. I mean it's something.
@HyenaKingYT Official It's quite difficult to give Ryu the habilities required in SFV tournaments without losing his essence. Think about this: every character who kicks Ryu's ass has a teleporting, armor move, invincibility move, charge, surrounding move, floating jump/feint, specials working like combos... strange stuff Ryu is not ready to imitate. He is the blank sheet, he writes his own combos and learns about his rivals in every light blow he gives or takes. I think Ryu is there just for old streetfightermaniacs to enjoy.
The gap between a pro player and an online player is really noticable. Great match, but seeing Daigo make adjustments and how he understands his range from his opponent looked like the difference. Great match!
Daigo has clearly held his aggression until the very last round. Sometimes the skills are so evenly matched it comes down to whose mentality cracks first. The entire game Daigo played very conservatively, and when he unleashed his aggressive playstyle you can see that his opponent was caught completely off guard.
This is the genius of Daigo . He didn't play Ryu like the others onliners with their flashy, yolo aggressive style ... This is how you set your self apart from the peasants that are trying so hard to get notice .The King don't have to do that shit to win .
V-Trigger/Skill > Ultra/FA system. I am glad they got rid of 1 frame links as well because they were required for top level play on some characters. The best players still dominate on SFV just like they did on SF4.
I liked the focus attack but Ultras always felt awkward to me knowing every time i attack my oponent i make their attack stonger, also the fact that the only way to buil that meter was to take damage, and it made supers look so unnapealing
@@benjaminherrera1987 Yes, the FADC was better than the FA solo imo. I like the options between FADC, EX moves, and Super. Too bad some supers were lack luster. Generally watching SFV seems like smoother more creative bouts than watching SFIV matches IMO.
Both embrace the spirit of their characters. The match felt as if real Ken was up against Ryu. Calm VS brash .
ceroblast play really ken spirit than kenpi ........
Well said
They’re playing Ken vs Ryu and people are complaining about hadoukens lmao
🤣🤣🤣

Damn this matchup reminds of the nineties!!
kennysolone456 hell yeah it does 👍💪
@kennysolone456 yes it sure does.
Yeet
Yeah, except winning at 90's Street Fighter meant you had skill. SFV is all rock paper scissors.

That was so satisfying, watching Daigo win, and with Ryu. Couldn't have asked for more.
Ryu 4 lyfe..daigo is still the king..
Dude... Kenpi's spacing at 7:19 and Daigo's at 8:32... absurd.
What we learn from this match? That Ken washes his gi with Tide™ Pods and Ryu is a bum 😂
classic match up never grows old
Kenpi using white ken color because of daigo parry
That's true respect.
He always uses that color.

the best Ryu vs Ken fight ever!
every move is carefully planned out in split seconds and the reacts .... and counterattacks ... two GODS!
Look up Momochi vs. Tokido Season 1 They had the best one so far
I second that dont remeber seeing such amazing match in a while.

9:12 epic combination between music and punches!!
THANK GOD I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE! that was sick!

This video game music is spot on, Ryu's theme is so epic.

Looks just as spammy as 4
Conditioned Ken in the early rounds and smothed him in the last..Daigo the ultimate stretagist.
Downloaded.
That combo at 5:51 tho...
Daigo is one of the rare "no corner spamer" champion
Awesome fights, the percision they have for spacing and blocking is incredible.
Thank you, no ads. I'll support this channel.
Stopped playing SFV but this battle was high tech both understand the games mechanics and their characters very well
Daigo stepped it up in that last round. Great fight.
Holy shit that really was THE classic rivalry match in modern times, I couldn't ask for a better one. This is simply the best.
Ryu vs Ken is always a great match to see
Even better is seeing Daigo back on Ryu. Been waiting for this.
What a golden match from the 90s especially that place used to be since the Family!
That was epic! Almost like Ryu and Ken were really sparring like in the old times under Gouken
He's up a 1,000 rank in just a few days lol.
Street fighter 5 is in a really good state now. Feels like a core street fighter game now. Gives me SF2 vibes, good times

Is always amazing to see daigo's ryu
What an epic fight! Nice BGM choice!
Nice fight! I´m happy that Ryu won at the very end of the match :)!
Its even better that Ryu speaks japanese and Ken is English, Making it even more canon.
Been hearing so much Zero/Ao no Kiseki music in the background.
2 top players at their best but the beast prevailed victorious , awesome match.
the way the music syncs with the last round is so sick
The soundtrack climax perfectly with the game.
Fantastic video!
Always great to watch 2 Pro's.
Wow.. that DAIGO crush counter followed by a series of throws 4:23
Diago doing GOAT things as usual. Greatest RYU vs Greatest Ken. What a match!
You can never out hadoken Ryu when Daigo is controlling him
Excellent fight!!!
It’s funny how bad Ryu is in this game
He just has to work so hard for every bit of damage
But he hits hard as fux. But not as hard as me of course. Where da fux my curry
mike meeks- Land a crush counter HK, HELL YEAH.
Ryu doesn’t has as much tools/gimmicks but once he could get in damage is alot

Hype as hell. Good music choices too. Did you see that last round though? Daigo is best in the long sets they say.
That first round was really ryu and ken playing as themselves lol
Ken and Ryu the OGs of street fighter. 2 of my favorite fighters
the background ost sounds like it would be a rival theme in unist or something
It's beautiful, their friendships are eternal.
the background music is wicked sick!!

So lit. He was toying with ken. Daigo is a showman above all
the best fight I have never seen before
Now just imagine how boring this would of been if he used guile

Daigo's Guile has been far from boring lately
it would be a faster fight. Just this
