    more information below
    👇👇👇
Holland Bay American Crocodile Sanctuary is a sanctuary for American Crocodiles in Holland Bay, Jamaica. They protect adult crocodiles and raise baby crocodiles safe from predators.
It was founded by a Jamaican native named Lawrence Henriques.
The American Crocodile is the only crocodile species that lives in Jamaica. The majority live in mangrove swamps, marshes, and rivers along the southern coast of the island.
It is estimated that there are only 700 crocodiles left in Jamaica.

These are the things that Jamaica should be paying attention to there are a lot of other species of animals in Jamaica that a basically going extinct on the island. We need more people or organization like him. And all those people with the negativity and misunderstanding they might be dangerous but still a importance to our history

Agreed, I remember growing up hearing stories about galliwasp and how dangerous they are. Now as an adult I've learned we've basically wiped out these harmless reptiles with the introduction of non native mongoose. We have to educate ourselves on these myths and recognize these animals are a part of Jamaica's ecosystem and have a right to live in nature.

@@rasras4749 this planet is big enough for man and beast. Whether you believe in God, Nature, the universe, whatever or whoever has placed these animals here as an apex predator. They might seem insignificant to you but they're a part of the food chain and been in the Americas long before slavery. I'm not saying they should breed and live on people front door, I am saying they have a history in Jamaica and deserve to live.
